  • Patent number: 12298758
Abstract: A work machine using a distributed controller network that provides for redundant data buses is described herein. The work machine uses a controller area network that provides for redundant data buses for tier 1 controllers, or controllers that are determined to have a higher degree of importance when compared to other controllers. The controller area network uses redundancy to decrease the probability of a communication failure between tier 1 controllers and tier 2 controllers. The tier 1 controllers have communication access to two data buses between other tier 1 controllers and tier 2 controllers. Thus, if a data bus used by a tier 1 controller cannot be used by the controller, the tier 1 controller can use the other, redundant data bus to maintain communication.

  • Publication number: 20250128637
Abstract: A power system for a work machine includes a connection arrangement. The connection arrangement facilitates an operative engagement of terminal sets to provide passage to an electrical connection therethrough and route electrical power supply from electrical power sources to electrical devices of the work machine through the connection arrangement. Further, the connection arrangement facilitates an operative engagement of connector sets to provide passage to communication links therethrough and route data transmission through the connection arrangement. A system for determining a state of the electrical connection between the terminal sets includes a controller configured to detect the data transmission through the communication links; determine the state of the electrical connection between the terminal sets as connected when the data transmission is active; and determine the state of the electrical connection between the terminal sets as disconnected when the data transmission is inactive.

  • Publication number: 20250128611
Abstract: A work machine using a direct current power system that isolates reactive loads is described herein. The work machine uses a machine power distribution unit that receives direct current power from two or more battery banks of a power unit, whereby each of the battery banks deliver electrical power on a separate direct current bus. A machine power distribution unit of the work machine receives the electrical power from the battery and is used to isolate the power using bus connectors. One of the battery banks provides power to one direct current bus of the work machine and another battery bank provides power to another direct current bus of the work machine. A reactive load serviced by one of the battery banks is electrically disconnected from another reactive load serviced by the other battery bank.

  • Patent number: 12071582
Abstract: A method and apparatus for reclaiming refrigerant. The method includes transferring, an unreclaimed refrigerant composition, including one or more hydrofluoro olefins, from a source vessel to a receiving vessel and transporting the receiving vessel to a recycling center. The unreclaimed refrigerant composition is analyzed to determine the composition of the unreclaimed refrigerant composition sample. A target composition is determined, based on the analyzed unreclaimed refrigerant composition, and one or more treatments are determined, based on the target composition. The unreclaimed refrigerant composition is treated, with the one or more treatments, to form a reclaimed refrigerant composition having the composition of the reclaimed refrigerant composition is equal to the target composition.

  • Publication number: 20240080286
Abstract: The disclosed systems and methods provide organization, small group, and particularly family-oriented communications platforms, with computing device applications and services allowing users to post, store, organize and share transactions, events, stories, updates, conversations, photos, physical location information and videos and other small group shared, or family-related, information within specified small group units, including specified family units. A content-controlled data and information exchange environment, as a local unit network, is provided that effectively firewalls content providers from gaining insight into the information exchanged by, and preferences of, any individual member of the group, while maintaining transparency into the interests, goals, objectives and data exchange preferences of the group. These objectives are implemented via a specific communications gateway between the local group network and external communication nodes.
