  • Patent number: 12318936
Abstract: A method for determining a torque for an operation of a robot that includes multiple components, using a model of the robot. Two components of the robot being movable using an actuator relative to one another at a connection point. The model maps parameters for the connection points onto a torque for the respective actuator. The method includes: providing values for the parameters including: a position or an angle a velocity, and an acceleration of the respective actuator; determining a value for the rigid body partial torque, the friction partial torque, and the machine learning partial torque, based on the values of the parameters and the model; determining a value of the torque of the respective actuator based on the values of the partial torques, and providing the value of the torque for the respective actuator for use during the operation, control or regulating of the robot.

  • Patent number: 11738454
Abstract: Device and method for operating a robot. As a function of a first state of the robot and/or its surroundings and as a function of an output of a first model, a first part of a manipulated variable for activating the robot for a transition from the first state into a second state of the robot is determined. A second part of the manipulated variable is determined as a function of the first state and regardless of the first model. A quality measure is determined as a function of the first state and of the output of the first model using a second model. A parameter of the first model is determined as a function of the quality measure. A parameter of the second model is determined as a function of the quality measure and a setpoint value. The setpoint value is determined as a function of a reward.

  • Publication number: 20220371194
Abstract: A method for controlling a robotic device. The method includes providing demonstrations for carrying out a skill by the robot, each demonstration including a robot pose, an acting force as well as an object pose for each point in time of a sequence of points in time, ascertaining an attractor demonstration for each demonstration, training a task-parameterized robot trajectory model for the skill based on the attractor trajectories and controlling the robotic device according to the task-parameterized robot trajectory model.

  • Patent number: 9095579
Abstract: Method and composition for protection and treatment against influenza viral infection by modulating the activity of at least one essential host signaling pathways, including the Hedgehog (Hh), the Bone Morphogenetic Protein (BMP), the Notch (N) signaling pathways or combinations thereof, which activity is altered by the viral protein NS1. The method and composition comprise use of a compound that modulates at least one of these essential host signaling pathways for preventing or controlling symptoms associated with influenza viral infection. The method or composition can also be used either alone or in combination with other therapeutic agents for treating or protecting against influenza infection, and associated syndromes.

  • Publication number: 20070160982
Abstract: The present invention includes compositions, methods and systems to isolate and characterize novel antiviral agents by contacting the antiviral agent with the F2F3 zinc fingers of a CPSF30 protein and an Influenza A NS1A protein; and determining whether the binding between the CPSF30 protein and the Influenza A NS1A protein is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20050158802
Abstract: The present invention relates to compositions and methods for the modulation of both ubiquitin and ubiquitin-like protein mediated modification and degradation of target proteins that includes the steps of contacting the compound with an Ubiquitin-like protein E2 enzyme and an E1 enzyme containing an ISG15 protein and an E1 containing ubiquitin and detecting the effect of the compound on the interaction between the Ubiquitin-like protein E2 enzyme and these two E1 enzymes, and the steps of contacting the compound with an Ubiquitin-like E2 enzyme containing an ISG15 protein or the same E2 enzyme containing ubiquitin and the E3 enymes that function with this E2 enzyme and detecting the effect of the compound on the interaction between these E2 and E3 enzymes.
