Abstract: A pipe assembly is provided, including a male fitting having an alignment tooth and at least one load tooth. The alignment tooth includes a first axial surface, a first ramped surface, a second axial surface, and a first radial surface. The load tooth includes a third axial, a second ramped surface, a fourth axial surface, and a second radial surface. The assembly includes a female fitting having an alignment cavity and at least one load cavity. The alignment cavity includes a first axial surface, a first ramped surface, a second axial surface, and a first radial surface. The load cavity includes a third axial surface, a second ramped surface, a fourth axial surface, and a second radial surface. When the male fitting is fully engaged with the female fitting, the alignment tooth fits within the alignment cavity, and the load tooth fits within the load cavity.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for desalinization wherein a heating grid containing a fluid is used to heat the fluid to a vaporized state using energy provided by compound magnifying lens focusing solar energy directly onto the grid wherein the vapor from the grid system is transmitted to a steam turbine wherein electricity is generated to charge a battery while the vapor from the steam turbine is conducted to a condenser wherein the vapor is cooled and fresh water is provided from the condensate. The remaining fluid from the condenser is pumped back into a reservoir for storage while waiting to be conducted into the heating grid. The magnifying lens and grid is rotated for alignment with the sun.

Abstract: A plurality of plate members for covering the outside of a ship's hull includes a base plate for shaping the plate members. The plate members are each coated with an inner and outer rubber resilient surface. Fasteners are used to attach the plate members to the ship's hull.

Abstract: Large format photographic apparatus for creating the illusion of vehicle motion has a winch frame for supporting a cable arrangement and for simultaneously pulling two separate cables. A first cable is coupled to a subject vehicle to be photographed. The second cable is coupled via a linkage translator to a moveable platform mounted camera cart. The platform has a pair of spaced apart rails having inwardly facing surfaces and the cart has laterally disposed resilient wheels engaging the rails whereby transverse vibrational motion is reduced. Beyond the subject vehicle is an upright triangular weight bearing structure. A separate cable coupled from the rear of the vehicle being photographed to the weight balances and maintains an inertial drag on the vehicle to smooth out the motion of the cable of the vehicle. Similarly a separate cable coupled from the cart is coupled to a different upright triangular weight bearing structure.
