Patent number: 11967948Abstract: A method and apparatus for use in improving the linearity characteristics of MOSFET devices using an accumulated charge sink (ACS) are disclosed. The method and apparatus are adapted to remove, reduce, or otherwise control accumulated charge in SOI MOSFETs, thereby yielding improvements in FET performance characteristics. In one exemplary embodiment, a circuit having at least one SOI MOSFET is configured to operate in an accumulated charge regime. An accumulated charge sink, operatively coupled to the body of the SOI MOSFET, eliminates, removes or otherwise controls accumulated charge when the FET is operated in the accumulated charge regime, thereby reducing the nonlinearity of the parasitic off-state source-to-drain capacitance of the SOI MOSFET. In RF switch circuits implemented with the improved SOI MOSFET devices, harmonic and intermodulation distortion is reduced by removing or otherwise controlling the accumulated charge when the SOI MOSFET operates in an accumulated charge regime.Type: GrantFiled: June 13, 2022Date of Patent: April 23, 2024Assignee: pSemi CorporationInventors: Christopher N. Publication number: 20240122936Abstract: The disclosure describes methods of synthesis of pyridazinone compounds as thyroid hormone analogs and their prodrugs. Preferred methods according to the disclosure allow for large-scale preparation of pyridazinone compounds having high purity. In some embodiments, preferred methods according to the disclosure also allow for the preparation of pyridazinone compounds in better yield than previously used methods for preparing such compounds. Also disclosed are morphic forms of a pyridazinone compound. Further disclosed is a method for treating resistance to thyroid hormone in a subject having at least one TR? mutation.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 22, 2023Publication date: April 18, 2024Inventors: D. Publication number: 20080257758Abstract: A display package with foldable legs, and a method for converting the package from a shipping arrangement to a display arrangement without removing the contents of the package are provided. The display package can be a blister package, a clam shell package, or a similar package containing product such as cosmetics. To convert to the display arrangement, a portion of the package is removed, and the legs are folded approximately perpendicular to the package to provide adequate support and display the product contained in the package.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 17, 2007Publication date: October 23, 2008Applicant: Jay Packaging Group, Inc.Inventor: Robert L. Patent number: 7143893Abstract: A multiple pack bottle holder capable of supporting one or more bottles is provided, the bottles being enclosed over their top portions. The bottle holder package can support the entire weight of the bottles by surrounding a neck and tapered portion just under the rim of each bottle, such that the barrel or a portion of the barrel remains exposed. The package includes foldable first and second sections that are connected by a center section. The package can be closed when buttons on the first section are engaged with corresponding enclosures on the second section. A hand grip can be provided in the first and second sections between cut-outs for the bottles, thereby facilitating gripping of the package.Type: GrantFiled: April 12, 2002Date of Patent: December 5, 2006Assignee: Jay Packaging Group, Inc.Inventor: Robert L. Patent number: 6047292Abstract: A digital rotary recording medium includes at least an audio component, an audio video component, and an application. The application component contains at least a browser or application program function. The information is deposited on the rotary digital recording media so that there are disparate audio and audio/video components and applications thereon. The rotary recording medium allows the user to access each element, by selection via an icon-based screen viewed function where one can interact with a pointing or touch device to chose the individual icon.Type: GrantFiled: September 12, 1996Date of Patent: April 4, 2000Assignee: CDKnet, L.L.C.Inventors: Robert L. Patent number: 5842745Abstract: An improved wheelchair and upper body support for supporting an occupant of the wheelchair. The wheelchair has two spaced-apart armrests for supporting the occupant. An upper body support is mounted on each of the spaced-apart armrests and includes a base member that has a front end and a back end. The upper body support further includes a padded backwall that is attached to the base member and that provides support for the occupant when an arm of the occupant is leaned thereon. The upper body support further includes a padded sidewall that is attached to the base member and provides support for the occupant when the occupant's arm is leaned thereon. A mechanism is also provided for securing each upper body support to one of the spaced-apart armrests. The padded backwall is removably attached to the base member so that the occupant may operate the wheelchair when the padded backwall is removed.Type: GrantFiled: September 15, 1997Date of Patent: December 1, 1998Assignee: Robert L. Patent number: 5581487Abstract: In a microscopic screening apparatus a calibration slide is mounted on a stage of a microscope, and a microscope positioning system is calibrated by reading and storing in memory the location of at least one fiducial marking that is on the calibration slide using a microscope-dependent coordinate system. Next, a sample containing slide is mounted against the stage of the microscope. The location of at least one feature on the sample containing slide is then transformed into a microscope-independent coordinate system, and is stored in a memory. Using a second microscope, a second calibration slide is mounted against the stage of the second microscope, and the second microscope is calibrated using a second microscope-dependent coordinate system, based on the second microscope. Next, the sample containing slide is mounted against the second stage.Type: GrantFiled: February 23, 1994Date of Patent: December 3, 1996Assignee: Science Applications International CorporationInventors: Robert L. Patent number: 4827493Abstract: A radiography source, preferably a cobalt-60 source constructed of a plurality of radioactive cobalt-60 pellets contained in an open capsule preferably constructed of titanium. The pellets are disposed in the capsule and compacted therein to reduce the source focal size. A plug is disposed in the open capsule and welded therewith. The cobalt and titanium materials are sufficiently different in atomic number to permit good X-ray analysis resolution.Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 1987Date of Patent: May 2, 1989Assignee: Amersham CorporationInventors: George W.
