Publication number: 20220313627Abstract: Compositions and methods are presented that provide substantially improved physical and pharmacological parameters for subungually administrable formulations. Most beneficially, the compositions presented herein have a viscosity and film-forming capacity that retain the liquid formulation in sufficient quantities and that help penetrate the polysaccharide matrix commonly associated with onychomycosis. In especially preferred aspects, the carrier is formulated to have a high concentration of the active pharmaceutically active agent (API), to allow migration of the formulation within the subungual space, and to reduce systemic absorption while promoting diffusion of the API into the nail plate at or above minimum inhibitory concentration into a larger treatment space.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 14, 2022Publication date: October 6, 2022Applicant: Hallux Inc.Inventors: Christopher Ronald Agee, Robert L. Orr, Thomas Mark Tremblay

Patent number: 9292437Abstract: The allocation of virtual memory within a virtual machine based upon the previous mapping of virtual memory blocks to physical memory blocks is optimized. Virtual memory blocks that have been mapped to a corresponding physical memory block over virtual memory blocks that are unmapped when fulfilling an allocation request can be reallocated preferentially.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2008Date of Patent: March 22, 2016Assignee: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATIONInventors: Charles D. Brant, Esther M. Burwell, Robert L. Orr, Troy M. Volin, Douglas A. Wood

Patent number: 8219667Abstract: Computing resource DNA associated with a computing resource of a computing system can be received. The computing resource DNA can include one or more computing resource DNA elements representing identifying characteristics of the computing resource. A set of one or more potential matches for the received computing resource DNA can be ascertained from a set of reference data. When one or more potential matches exist, a confidence factor can be calculated for each potential match. The set of potential matches can then be refined. An optimum match for the computing resource DNA can be determined from the set of refined potential matches. The computing resource DNA can then be identified as a representation of the computing resource associated with the optimum match.Type: GrantFiled: September 25, 2008Date of Patent: July 10, 2012Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Charles D. Publication number: 20100042600Abstract: A system and method for managing a contact list within a business process automation tool. The method includes identifying an active task of a user within the business process automation tool. The method also includes identifying a plurality of roles associated with the active task. Each of the roles is associated with corresponding contact information. The method also includes generating a contact list of the roles and the corresponding contact information.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 13, 2008Publication date: February 18, 2010Inventors: Robert L. Patent number: 4949714Abstract: A scavenging medical hood includes a hood for fitting over the head of a patient. A gas inlet port leads to the interior of the hood for supplying the interior of the hood with an appropriate respiratory gas and an aerosolized medicinal agent contained within that respiratory gas. A gas outlet connects between the interior of the hood and the ambient air for discharge of gas from the interior of the hood including any residual aerosolized medicinal agent remaining in that discharged gas. A vacuum port is located adjacent to the gas outlet. A vacuum is applied to the vacuum port via a suitable motorized vacuum source. Vacuum at the vacuum port aspirates gas from the area of the gas outlet to aspirate respiratory gas, residual aerosolized medicinal agent still suspended in the respiratory gas and ambient air from the vicinity of the gas outlet into the vacuum port. A filter located in the vacuum line serves to filter out the residual aerosolized medicinal agent from the aspirate in the gas line.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 1989Date of Patent: August 21, 1990Assignee: Viratek Inc.Inventor: Robert L.
