  • Patent number: 12133673
Abstract: An electrosurgical forceps includes first and second shaft members and first and second jaw members extending distally from the respective first and second shaft members. A pivot couples the first and second shaft members with one another such that the first and second shaft members are movable relative to one another between a spaced-apart position and an approximated position to move the first and second jaw members relative to one another between an open position and a closed position. The jaw members are configured to facilitate tissue treatment, tissue division, and blunt tissue dissection.

  • Publication number: 20240266861
Abstract: A Multiple Output Dynamically Adjustable Capacity (MODACS) and a method of operation of the MODACS. The MODACS includes a cell, a load in thermal communication with the cell, and a processor. A voltage is applied to a load to generate heat at a cell of the MODACS, wherein the heat affects a temperature of the cell. The processor measures a parameter of the cell in response to the heat and controls an operation of the MODACS based on the parameter of the cell.

  • Patent number: 10228214
Abstract: A fixed stock adapter for a receiver of a fire arm comprises a receiver engagement portion disposed at a top end of the fixed stock adapter that further comprises two opposing sides configured to couple to a portion of the receiver of a firearm. A transition portion of the receiver engagement portion is configured to contact a portion of a fixed stock accessory and be congruent with the portion of the fixed stock accessory. A spine is further configured to couple to the two opposing sides and the transition portion. An accessory engagement portion is coupled to the spine and comprises one or more accessory engagement surfaces configured to fit within the fixed stock accessory and at least one coupling feature configured to receive a coupling element. The coupling element configured to engage a coupling feature on the fixed stock accessory.

  • Patent number: 5774919
Abstract: The combination hanger and tool includes a stem which is provided at one end with a laterally enlarged structure and at the other end with a box end wrench (or other type of tool) having an aperture at the outer end thereof. The combination hanger and tool fits within the chuck of an electric drill with the lateral surfaces of the stem in engagement with the jaws of the chuck. The inner ends of the jaws are positioned adjacent the laterally enlarged structure which functions as a stop to prevent undesired relative movement between the stem and the jaws and thereby prevent separation of the combination hanger and tool from the chuck. When secured to the chuck, the aperture of the wrench is dimensioned to fit over a hook or peg thereby enabling the combination hanger and tool with the drill secured thereto to be hung from the hook or peg on a wall or other external structure. For chucks which require a key for operation thereof, one embodiment includes a chuck key mounted on the stem.

  • Patent number: 4466314
Abstract: A fastener with a special head having a threaded recess and torque receiving recesses is matched to a tool which threadably engages the head and utilizes the threaded engagement to provide a solid base for torque applicators, such as drive pins, drive blades or a serrated drive disc so that high torque fasteners which otherwise would use Phillips, Tri-wing or Reed and Prince torquing systems, can be installed and removed without fear of the torquing tool camming out of their heads and thereby ruining them or requiring extensive jigs or other holding devices to prevent such camming action.

  • Patent number: 4179132
Abstract: A hand truck having in addition to the normal lower support platform and wheels, a structural loop for maintaining open trash bags in an erect and open condition on the platform. The loop is hingedly mounted to the hand truck about an axle for swinging upwardly and rearwardly so that it can be manually moved to a position where it does not obstruct the positioning of a conventional cylindrical trash container on the platform. The integral handle for the hand truck is formed to provide a stop for the rotation of the trash bag loop and the handle and the axle accommodate a clip-on tray which can be used to carry additional trash bags and small garden tools commonly used when collecting trash or pruning and trash bag clips.
