  • Publication number: 20230107516
Abstract: A hydraulic circuit includes a hydraulic power unit, a first cylinder pair coupled with the hydraulic power unit, and a second cylinder pair coupled with the hydraulic power unit in parallel with the first cylinder pair. Re-phasing valves coupled with each cylinder of the first and second cylinder pairs are activated when a respective one of the cylinders reaches one of a fully extended or a fully retracted position. The hydraulic circuit incorporates the serially plumbed, re-phasing cylinders for synchronized movement in a system with multiple pairs of cylinders.

  • Publication number: 20230068709
Abstract: A power cord slide connector coupling includes a power cord, a low-profile connector coupled with the power cord, a receptacle including a housing with a concave opening sized to receive the low-profile connector in an insert direction, and a plug disposed in the receptacle and configured to electrically engage the low-profile connector. The plug includes contact members that are positioned such that with the low-profile connector in the concave opening, the plug engages the low-profile connector by displacing the low profile connector in a connect direction, perpendicular to the insert direction.

  • Patent number: 11440632
Abstract: A boat lift includes posts and linear actuators, each attached to one of the posts. Each linear actuator includes an extendable and retractable member oriented for extension and retraction substantially parallel to the post. Ends of a first pair of the extendable and retractable members are connected to a first carrier, and ends of a second pair of the extendable and retractable members are connected to a second carrier. A cradle or platform is supported by the first and second carriers. The boat lift may be supported by the ground, by a structure, for example, a dock, a sea wall or a wall of a boat house, or by pontoons.

  • Publication number: 20210339717
Abstract: A stabilizing system includes a plurality of jacks, each operated by a corresponding hydraulic actuator. A hydraulic fluid transfer pump supplies hydraulic fluid to and receives hydraulic fluid from one or more pressure chambers of the actuator. A pilot-operated check or directional valve may be provided in fluid communication with one or more of the pressure chambers and configured to regulate the flow of hydraulic fluid to and from the pressure chamber. A directional control valve may connect the pump output with the jacks via respective pilot-operated directional valves. • Patent number: 5915774
Abstract: A system varies space of a vehicle having a first portion with occupiable space and a number of ground engaging wheels coupled to the first portion. A second occupiable portion is coupled to the first portion and configured to move relative thereto to adjust volume of an occupiable living space defined by both portions. A pair of support arms are coupled to the first portion which each have a bearing member engaging a guide of the second portion. Each bearing member is permitted to move relative to an axis perpendicular to an axis of travel of the second portion to relieve stress from forces acting on the system which are nonparallel to the axis of travel. The arms are positioned by an operator controlled positioning mechanism. In another system, an arrangement of telescoping arms is disclosed for positioning a first occupiable portion relative to a second occupiable portion. This arrangement includes an operator positioning mechanism with a rotatable member formed from a self-lubricating polymeric material.

  • Patent number: 5860686
Abstract: A vehicle for providing adjustable occupant space has a fixed occupiable section defining a first interior space. The fixed occupiable section includes a number of ground engaging wheels and has a floor affixed to a number of walls. Also included is an expandable occupiable section moveably coupled to the fixed section which also has a floor fixed to at least one wall. The expandable section defines a second interior space intersecting the first interior space which is moveable relative to the first interior space to vary an amount of total living space defined by the fixed and expandable sections. A carriage for supporting the expandable section and selectively positioning it relative to the fixed section is included to adjust volume of the living space defined by both sections. This carriage includes at least one arm pivotably anchored to the first section which engages the expandable section in a load bearing relationship.

  • Patent number: 5560444
Abstract: A position locking feature for an expandable trailer by which the trailer may be automatically locked in either an expanded or a retracted position. A stop block having a transverse striking plate is mounted to an expansion box beam carrying the expandable portion of the trailer. A locking assembly is mounted to a fixed box beam carrying the fixed portion of the trailer. The locking assembly biases a plunger toward the expansion box beam such that the plunger abuts the transverse striking plate, thereby preventing relative movement of the fixed and expandable portions in one direction. A pair of such stop blocks may be used to lock the trailer in either of the expanded or retracted positions.
