Abstract: A device and process for applying a quick dry rapid set aqueous solution. An indicator of a selected color and composition is added to an accelerator to be applied along with a resin. The tinted color indicator is typically blue and allows the user to determine if the proper mixture is being applied. The indicator is visible only during application and disappears after application. The resin and accelerator are applied using an airless spray mechanism with delivery systems and spray gun. The spray gun has 2 nozzles and the capability to set the angle between the nozzles.

Abstract: An oil skimmer (10) employs a dynamic-inclined-plane module (22) that is retractable so that it can be kept suspended above the water during skimmer travel to and from oil-spill sites. The thrust required of the skimmer's propulsion system to achieve a given transit speed is thus much lower than that required by conventional dynamic-inclined-plane systems. When the skimmer (10) reaches the oil-recovery site, the retracting mechanism (26) lowers the dynamic-inclined plane module to its operating depth. To enable the skimmer to operate dose to shore, its primary buoyancy is provided by inflatable pontoons (12), which result in shallow draft and relatively low vulnerability to hull damage.

Abstract: A tank truck (10) for carrying fuel has a tank (12) whose shell (18) is supported by a baffle (20). The vertical cross section of the baffle is straight, but its horizontal cross section has two concave sections (48 and 50) and a convex section (52). Horizontal ribs (30 and 32) are secured to the face of the baffle (20) and help it to maintain the desired cross-sectional shape.
