  • Publication number: 20240091596
Abstract: Golf ball comprising one or more layers and/or indicia formed from a fluorescent composition comprising: a base polymer; and a colorant; wherein the colorant is a small-molecule ionic isolation lattice formed from one or more fluorescent dye and one or more cyanostar macrocycles. The one or more fluorescent dyes may include at least one dye selected from xanthenes, oxazines, styryls, cyanines, trianguleniums, or mixtures thereof. The colorant may be a dispersion of the small-molecule ionic isolation lattice in a carrier medium or a powder. • Publication number: 20230202958
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to limiting the production of acetic acid in an oxidative dehydrogenation process to convert ethane to ethylene. The process of oxidative dehydrogenation includes feeding acetic acid, along with ethane and oxygen into an oxidative dehydrogenation reactor where contact with a catalyst leads to conversion of the ethane into ethylene and acetic acid. By including acetic acid in the feed, the amount of acetic acid produced may be limited and the ratio of ethylene produced to ethane consumed may increase.

  • Patent number: 10618160
Abstract: According to at least one exemplary embodiment, a carrier may be overlaid onto a vehicle. The vehicle may be a handle-propelled vehicle, for example a wheelbarrow. The carrier may have contours that fit over the top of the vehicle such that the carrier stays in place relative to the vehicle without additional fastening means when the vehicle is propelled in motion. The carrier design may also allow the carrier to be easily installed and removed from the vehicle. Additionally, the carrier may have a plurality of compartments of varying sizes and shapes. The compartments may be specifically designed to hold a variety of items, for example mobile technology devices, food containers, beverage containers, gardening materials and tools, landscaping materials and tools, or construction materials and tools.

  • Patent number: 9883603
Abstract: A battery powered device is configured to allow the device to be stored for extended periods of time with a lithium battery installed and operable. An electronic switch is coupled between the battery and processing logic of the device and is biased off to block all current flow to the processing logic while the device is in a storage state. A user may perform a simple action to overcome the bias such that the electronic switch is turned on and allows current to flow to the processing logic in an operational state. Later, the user may perform another simple action to restore the bias such that the electronic switch is turned off to return the device to the storage state in which essentially no current is drained from the battery.

  • Patent number: 7619485
Abstract: Provided is a chip-scale atomic clock having a folded optic configuration or physics package. In particular, the physics package includes a vapor cell for containing gaseous alkali atoms and a VCSEL for generating a laser light One or more heating elements are positioned to simultaneously heat both the vapor cell and VCSEL to the required operating temperature. A micro-lens element, positioned between the VCSEL and a reflector, is used to first expand the beam of light, and then to subsequently collimate the light after it is once reflected. Collimated, reflected light passes through the vapor cell wherein the alkali atoms are excited and a percentage of the reflected light is absorbed. A detector, located opposite the reflector and micro-lens array, detects light passing through the cell. An error signal is generated and the output voltage of a local voltage oscillator is successively stabilized.
