  • Patent number: 7543852
Abstract: A seat belt assembly for a vehicle that includes an anchor portion having an anchor bolt adapted to attach to a vehicle. A seat belt web is associated with the anchor portion. A sheath member is coupled to the anchor portion with the sheath member having opposing top and bottom surfaces and opposing side surfaces. The opposing top and bottom surfaces and opposing side surfaces define an interior cavity. The sheath member includes a plurality of detents formed on the opposing side surfaces. An extension plate having opposing proximal and distal ends as well as opposing top and bottom surfaces bounded by opposing lateral edges is slidingly disposed within the interior cavity of the sheath member. The extension plate includes a pair of arms formed on the opposing lateral edges. An extension arm formed about the extension plate includes first and second ends with the first end coupled to the proximal end of the extension plate. The second end of the extension arm includes a web guide formed on an end.

  • Publication number: 20070201973
Abstract: A system for coupling an implement to a machine. A coupler body includes first and second opposed coupler sidewalls, each including a lock pin coupler receiving region therein, and at least one transverse member coupled to the first and second opposed side walls. An attachment member includes first and second opposed attachment member sidewalls. Each attachment sidewall includes a hook member at a first end thereof and a lock pin attachment receiving region at a second end thereof. The lock pin attachment receiving regions are configured to selectively align with the lock pin coupler receiving regions when the hook members have received a transverse member. A lock pin is sized to be accepted by each lock pin coupler receiving region and each lock pin attachment receiving region when aligned with each other.

  • Publication number: 20070184120
Abstract: The present invention is generally directed to compositions useful in preventing and/or treating disease due to infection by any of a variety of biologically active pathogenic microorganisms. The compositions include nanoparticles formed of a hydrophobic polymeric core, hydrophilic linking agents bound to the core, and biofunctional materials bound to the linking agents. The biofunctional materials are functionally identical to receptors on host cell surfaces that can be recognized and bound by adhesins on the surface of the targeted pathogenic adhesin-bearing microorganisms. In one embodiment, the binding action between the nanoparticles and the microorganisms can lead to the formation of large agglomerated complexes, which can then be easily removed from an area, including the digestive tract of an infected individual.
