  • Publication number: 20260171794
Abstract: The present document describes an auxiliary electrical energy storage system for a vehicle such as a semi-truck comprising a main electric energy storage component (main EESC), an ICE, an alternator, and accessory components generating an auxiliary load. The auxiliary electrical energy storage system has an auxiliary EESC; a DC/DC converter electrically coupled to the main EESC, the auxiliary EESC, the alternator, and the accessory components; and a controller coupled to the DC/DC converter, controlling flow of energy in and out of the EESC's. Such system allows to power the auxiliary load when the vehicle is in an idle state.

  • Publication number: 20250257705
Abstract: A fuel filter apparatus for use within a liquid fuel in a fuel tank. The fuel filter apparatus can have an inlet screen that is generally long and slender, and a fuel pickup tube is attached to this fuel inlet screen and sealed so as not to leak. The fuel pickup tube is a one-piece tube that conveys clean fuel from a fuel source to a fuel pump. The fuel screen and pickup tube are oriented so that the long axis of the long slender screen is mounted vertical or at least oriented such that one end of the filter is located higher than the diameter of the filter with respect to gravity and located so that the end of the filter assembly stops against the bottom of the fuel tank to ensure positive indication of positioning.

  • Patent number: 11577582
Abstract: An HVAC air distribution device to promote temperature stratification within a larger volume. The device comprised of a front side coupled to a back side defining a cavity for directing a flow of air. The front side comprised of a pliable material and configured for the distribution of the flow of air within the channel. Accordingly, the front side comprises an air permeable portion to release flow from the channel to provide a low velocity of uniform air flow across a length of the device. This low velocity uniform air flow encourages temperature stratification within a distinct area of the larger volume to increase comfort of an occupant and promote efficiency of HVAC systems.

  • Patent number: 10596450
Abstract: A magnetic toss game with a three-dimensional target capable of generating a magnetic field, a support mechanism having two ends, the first end operably coupled to the three-dimensional target, and a three-dimensional backdrop having at least one side surface and a bottom surface, the three-dimensional backdrop spaced apart from the three-dimensional target and operably coupled to the support mechanism, wherein the three-dimensional backdrop envelops the three-dimensional target on at least two sides, including the bottom side.

  • Publication number: 20100083679
Abstract: A temperature control system includes a compressor, a condenser, an evaporator, and an accumulator. A liquid level sensor is associated with the accumulator tank generates a signal indicative of the level of the liquid heat transfer fluid inside the accumulator. A valve is in fluid communication with the condenser, the compressor, and the evaporator and is operable in a first position and a second position. The first position directs the heat transfer fluid from the compressor to the condenser, and the second position directs the heat transfer fluid from the compressor to the evaporator without passing through the first heat exchanger. A controller is in electrical communication with the liquid level sensor and the valve and is operable to receive the signal and move the valve from the first position to the second position based on the signal.
