  • Patent number: 8892680
Abstract: A system and method for allowing requests generated as a result of dynamic URLs to be efficiently looked up in a cache are provided. The system and method involve receiving a request for a content element, the request being generated from a dynamic URL. A static content element identifier is generated from the request. In an embodiment, the static content element identifier includes only the content identification parameters and the dynamic parameters are removed. The static content element identifier is then used to determine whether the content element is in the cache.

  • Patent number: 8162281
Abstract: A folding presentation pad easel, particularly suited for a classroom or teaching environment, utilizes a support spine and a leg element with additional legs to form a rigid triangular base, a supporting column, and a telescopic support, with pivotal supports therebetween. Superior stability is provided as well as a minimum required floor space to the rear of the easel, a feature which is particularly desirable in a classroom. When the easel is folded it has a set of wheels and a handle in which can be used for mobility.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 8109019
Abstract: A flip-chart comprising at least two sheets bound by a linear attachment spine. The spine is positioned at a substantially vertical angle. The sheets are releasably securable to the spine and to optionally to a chart cover by means of support pegs. The sheets are adapted for writing on both sides thereon, and each sheet is removable from the pad.
