  • Publication number: 20250101757
Abstract: A debris containment system includes a base member configured to attach to a cast-in-place or other floor and also to attach to a support member including a channel unit, where the support member and channel unit are configured to allow the channel unit to extend outward from the perimeter of the building. Channel units can be produced in any length or lengths needed for a given application. These channel units are used to lift and support barrier members (e.g., nets, tarps, canvas/fabric, or other barrier members) to create barriers along the perimeter of the building.

  • Publication number: 20240188541
Abstract: Technologies for monitoring beehives in an apiary includes one or more sensors communicatively coupled to a remote data analysis computing device, which is communicatively coupled to a client computing device. The sensors are configured to monitor beehives and/or the environment of the apiary and transmit the sensed data to the remote data analysis computing device. The remote data analysis computing device is configured to analyze the received sensor data, determine whether to perform an action as a function of a result of the analysis, and perform the function, as applicable. The client computing device is configured to interface with the remote data analysis computing device such that a user of the client computing device can view results of the data analysis and actions, as well as provide input and adjust settings administered by the remote data analysis computing device. A model for assessing beehive strength from an infrared image is also disclosed. Other embodiments are described herein.

  • Patent number: 11788306
Abstract: A debris containment system includes channel units that are configured to attach to perimeter structural members of the building (e.g., vertical columns and/or horizontal beams) and extend outward from the perimeter of the building. Channel units can be produced in any length or lengths needed for a given application. These channel units are used to lift and support barrier members (e.g., nets, tarps, canvas/fabric, or other barrier members) to create barriers along the perimeter of the building. Importantly, these channel units are generally attached directly or indirectly (e.g., via temporary vertical members) to structures that will remain on the building (e.g., structural columns and beams of the building) as opposed to being used with separate framing structures erected outside of the building perimeter, although in some exemplary embodiments, channel units can be used on structures erected outside of the perimeter of the building.

  • Patent number: 11559173
Abstract: Devices, apparatus and systems for preventing towels from slipping off a towel holder are disclosed. The apparatus, devices and systems may include a surface that provides a frictional interface between the towel and towel holder. Two opposing edges of such a device may each include at least one raised or enlarged attachment formation which, when the device is moved from an unraveled condition to an engaged condition, may be aligned and connected to effectively connect the edges to each other. Such a device may further include a plurality of friction formations configured to face and contact a towel and a plurality of ridges configured to face and contact a towel holder when the device is in an engaged condition, surrounding a towel holder and supporting a towel.

  • Patent number: 11303606
Abstract: Hashing name resolution requests may be performed according to an identified routing policy. A query from a Domain Name System (DNS) resolver to lookup a name in a first collection of name records may be received. A hash function may be applied to the name to generate a hash value according to a routing policy for the first collection of name records that determines which name record in the first collection of name records is used to answer the query. A name record in the collection of name records may be identified according to a mapping request for the name record using the hash value and a value for the name record may be returned to the DNS resolver. The value for the name record may identify a second collection of name records to query as part of determining the network address at the DNS resolver.
