    Abstract: The invention provides an endoscope tip protector for protecting the distal tip of an endoscope and an endoscope assembly including the tip protector affixed thereto. The endoscope tip protector can include a main body with an opening through the main body sized to accept an endoscope sheath and a white surface arranged to face a distal end of an endoscope sheath when the sheath is placed in the endoscope tip protector. Methods of making and using the tip protector and assembly are also provided.
