  • Patent number: 5759096
Abstract: A fume hood sash operator and fume hoods containing such sash operators. The sash operator is constructed to operate from a pressure fluid cylinder which has no outside operating parts with respect to the movement of the piston in the cylinder. The unique construction of the pressure fluid cylinder makes it very useful for fume hood construction because of the overall small dimensions of the pressure fluid cylinder and the ability to start the piston by overcoming the inertia of the piston using very low air or fluid pressures.

  • Patent number: 5303659
Abstract: A down draft work table useful in removing obnoxious fumes and gases. The work table comprises a support structure which contains a flat top mounted on an open-topped V-bottomed down draft chamber. The down draft chamber is attached such that one end of the V-bottom is lower than the opposite end of the V-bottom. The down draft chamber is assisted in the removal of gases by a series of air ducts and an air flow package. At least two work tables can be connected together in tandem through the air flow package.

  • Patent number: 4774878
Abstract: What is disclosed is a new and novel fume hood sash operator system and a fume hood containing such a system. The sash operator is constructed to operate from a pressure fluid cylinder so that the sash member can be stopped, started, moved up or down to accommodate changes in the flow of air moving through the hood structure and to provide a safe, durable, energy savings sash operating system.
