  • Publication number: 20220287278
Abstract: A birdhouse comprises a housing. The housing includes inner volume and a camera platform disposed within the inner volume. The camera platform divides the inner volume into a nest chamber and a wiring chamber. A camera is connected to the camera platform. The housing also includes a portal that is in open communication with the nest chamber and the external environment. The housing further includes a channel extending through the nest chamber. The channel is in open communication with the wiring chamber and the environment external. The channel is configured to retain wiring.

  • Patent number: 8245441
Abstract: An apparatus and method for hanging a load from awnings, ceilings or wall brackets, for example a planter or other item to be suspended but selectively lowered. The load is suspended from a cord that is constantly urged to a wound up position on a spool held above the load. The load can be lowered by overcoming the winding force. Optionally, the load can be fixed over a range of lowered positions. In one example, a wedge clamps the cord in any of a range of extended lengths to set different heights of the load. Optionally, the spool can be enclosed. The planter easily and in a controlled manner can be lowered against the winding force with relatively little manual pulling force on the planter. But also, the planter can easily and in a controlled manner by assisted when raised by relatively little manual lifting force.

  • Patent number: 7606783
Abstract: Methods and systems for gathering lifestyle-based Health, Safety and Security (HSS) risks and conducting associated analyses by collecting HSS information related to potential health risks, safety hazards, and security concerns existing at a client location. Product and service information relating to one or more products or services for mitigating or eliminating said potential health risks, safety hazards, or security concerns are automatically identified using the gathered HSS information, where the one or more products or services mitigate or eliminate the potential health risks, safety hazards or security concerns. Additionally, an order is automatically assembled for purchasing the one or more products or services based upon the potential health risks, safety hazards or security concerns.

  • Patent number: 5814525
Abstract: A piezoelectric biosensor substrate useful for immobilizing biomolecules in an oriented manner on the surface of a piezoelectric sensor has a ladder polymer of polyacrylonitrile. To make the substrate, a solution of an organic polymer, preferably polyacrylonitrile, is applied to the surface of a piezoelectric sensor. The organic polymer is modifying by heating the polymer in a controlled fashion in air such that a ladder polymer is produced which, in turn, forms the attachment point for the biomolecules comprising the piezoelectric biosensor.

  • Patent number: 4386673
Abstract: An axle joint for connecting a removable tread member to the axle of a heavy vehicle. The tread member includes a window which provides ample clearance to loosely receive the end portion of an axle, which window and axle are then pivotally connected together by a pivot pin. A hydraulic cylinder is connected between the axle and the window and continuously applies a turning moment to the axle joint which firmly locks the axle within the window from relative movement in a vertical plane during operation of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 4003608
Abstract: A crawler drive system having an endless track is disclosed in which each track sprocket has a double row of teeth and each track shoe has a double row of lugs. The two lugs on each shoe, which lie in different rows, are spaced in the longitudinal direction a greater distance than adjacent teeth of the sprocket so that only one lug of a shoe is engaged by a sprocket tooth at any instant. The two lugs of successive shoes are spaced longitudinally a lesser distance than the pairs of teeth of the sprocket so that only a single lug of a single shoe is engaged by a sprocket tooth at any time.
