  • Publication number: 20240138292
Abstract: An all-electric turf vehicle, wherein the vehicle comprises a chassis; a plurality of ground engaging wheels operatively connected to the chassis, wherein at least one of the ground engaging wheels is a steerable wheel; a plurality of electric wheel drive and tractions motors, wherein each electric wheel drive and tractions motor is operatively connected to a respective one of the plurality of ground engaging wheels and is structured and operable to deliver motive power to the respective ground engaging wheel; a plurality of turf cutting units; and an operator station. The operator station comprises a seat in which a vehicle operator can be seated; and a control and support arm pivotally movable so that the control and support arm can be positioned to not obstruct a line of sight of the vehicle operator to an outer edge of an outermost of the plurality of cutting units.

  • Publication number: 20240065678
Abstract: A biopsy device comprises a sheath equipped with a removable stylet. The sheath including a terminus with a distal chamber configured with a forward facing cutting edge comprising a plurality of movable blades. The plurality of movable blades including two counter rotating blades configured perpendicular or beveled relative to a long axis of the distal chamber, each counter rotating blade configured to pivot from a separate axis. The biopsy device further comprises a manipulation end controllable by a user to plunge the forward facing cutting edge at a sampling locus after removal of the removable stylet at a depth and to engage a cutting action by the plurality of movable blades at the depth selected to acquire at least one specimen storable in the distal chamber.

  • Patent number: 11076841
Abstract: A biopsy device has a flexible sheath having a terminus with a distal chamber. The distal chamber is configured with a forward facing cutting edge. The forwarding facing cutting edge has multiple movable blades, in which the movable blades are two counter rotating blades configured perpendicular or angular to a long axis of the distal chamber. Each counter rotating blade is configured to pivot from a separate axis. The biopsy has a manipulation end controllable by the user to plunge the forward facing cutting edge at a set depth or a depth selected by the user, and to engage a cutting action by the multiple movable blades at the set depth or the selected depth. The movement of the forwarding facing cutting edge enables the biopsy device to acquire a plurality of specimens for storage in the distal chamber.

  • Patent number: 5206496
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing a body of material (14) with sub-surface marking in the form of an area of increased opacity to electromagnetic radiation. The method includes directing at a surface of the body (14) a high energy density beam (12, 26) to which the material (14) is transparent, and bringing the beam (12,26) to a focus at a location spaced from the surface and within the body (14) so as to cause localized ionization of the material (14). In a prefered embodiment the apparatus includes a laser (10) as a high energy density beam source and provides means (36, 38) to move the focus of the beam (12,26) relative to the body (14) so as to enable the mark to be of a predetermined shape.
