  • Publication number: 20240078503
Abstract: Systems and methods of creating, managing, and distributing supplemental content associated with items in a distribution network. A physical delivery item can be imaged and associated with additional content generated or associated with the sender of the physical delivery item.

  • Patent number: 5313265
Abstract: A latent image scanner 10 comprising a three-color laser-diode interferometer 11 having either thickness gauge optical geometry 12 or profiler optical geometry 12a is focused on a spot on a surface of a reference optic 14 having a latent image residue thereon. The interferometry thickness gauge 10 or profiler 10a measures and records the height and location of the spot. The scanner 10 is then focused on a new spot by moving an associated X-Y mechanical translator 13. A complete scan of the surface of the reference optic 14 results in a three dimensional data array correlating height profile to X-Y coordinates of the surface of the reference optic 14. The difference between the absolute height profile and the known height of the reference optic 14 represents the latent image.

Inventors: Guy H. Hayes, Robert M. Dixon
  • Patent number: 5267669
Abstract: A beverage dispenser is provided having a hollow shell member having an open end, a beverage receptacle enclosed within the shell member and engaged with the shell member and also having an open end, and a cover member which threadably engages the open end of the shell member and forms a liquid-tight seal with the open end of the beverage receptacle. A spigot for dispensing the beverage is provided and extends through the cover member, and a handle for manipulating the beverage dispenser is provided. For dispensing beer, the shell member is preferably shaped and colored as a beer keg, and the molded surface is formed to simulate a beer keg.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 4195695
Abstract: A method and apparatus for treatment of land surfaces is disclosed. The land surface is imprinted by means of imprint capsules of alternating geometries--one being a water-runoff-directing geometry; the other, a water-infiltration-enhancing geometry. The method prevents water runoff and enhances water infiltration into the soil in areas where high moisture levels would be desirable, such as in seed beds and at the base of growing plants.
