Abstract: A bicycle pump and tire repair apparatus incorporating into a single unit an air pump for inflating a bicycle tire, a tire lever for removing a tire from a bicycle rim, a spoke wrench for repairing and adjusting the spokes of a rim, and a compartment for storing a patch for repairing a punctured bicycle tire is disclosed. The air pump is compactly designed for carrying on a bicycle. A thumblock on the head of the pump performs a dual function of locking the nozzle of the pump onto the valve of a tire being inflated, and it functions as a tire removal lever. A cap on the head of the pump has a knurled surface for abrading an inner tube to prepare it for application of a patch. A slot in the pump handle holds a second tire lever, and a compartment in the end cap of the handle stores a self-adhesive patch for repairing a punctured tire.

Abstract: A data display unit for a bicycle includes a means for determining and displaying an operational data signal in a normal operating mode and a workout data signal of a workout window mode having predetermined data information including time, distance, average and maximum speed. The unit is configured to calculate and display the predetermined information of the operational data signal information and to allow for the manual actuation to begin separate calculation, display and resetting of the predetermined information of the workout data signal. The display includes a liquid crystal display for displaying separately operational data signals and workout data signals.

Abstract: A control system for use with a self-locking pen paneling arrangement includes a series of retaining bars which are movable from a first access position to a first retaining position in response to downward movement of an animal's neck toward the feeding area. A movable locking member is mounted to each retaining bar, and is engageable with a latch member when the retaining member is in its first retaining position. A release mechanism is operable to disengage the locking member from the latch member to provide movement of the retaining bar to its first access position. If desired, the retaining bar can be moved to a second retaining position, distinct from the first retaining position, in which movement of the release mechanism does not disengage the locking member from the latch member. This "locks out" certain animals to prevent withdrawal from the feeding area, to enable the operator to dehorn, vaccinate or perform any other procedure, treatment or operation on the animal as necessary.

Abstract: A bag stabilizer for a bicycle pack having two elongated material strips, two hooks and a fastener. The elongated material strips are connected to the top part of the pack extending through two hooks and out the bottom part into and through a fastener. The bag stabilizer prevents movement of the bag and its contents, particularly while the bicycle is in motion.
