  • Publication number: 20080086503
Abstract: Selected embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems, methods and media for receiving prospective indication information and processing the received prospective indication information to generate result information. In certain embodiments, among others, a user is prompted to provide the prospective indication information, and at least a portion of the prospective indication information is converted into a common measurement system format and subsequently balanced in combination with other prospective indication information in the common measurement system format to generate balanced combination result information. In some embodiments, the processing further includes generating a result communication based at least in part upon the balanced combination result information, identifying a recipient for the result communication based at least in part upon the balanced combination result information, and transmitting the result communication to the recipient.

  • Publication number: 20080086316
Abstract: Selected embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems, methods and media for receiving and processing intellectual property competitive advantage information. In certain embodiments, among others, a user is prompted to provide at least a portion of the competitive advantage information, and at least a portion of the competitive advantage information is converted into a common measurement system format and subsequently balanced in combination with other competitive advantage information in the common measurement system format to generate balanced total information. In certain embodiments, large amounts of prospective indication information are processed to generate numerous balanced results that are further processed. Other systems, methods and media are also provided.

  • Patent number: 6786711
Abstract: A method for producing a three-dimensional object by stereolithography. A solid reinforcing material is mixed with the fluid medium so that at least a part of said solid reinforcing medium is located in the layer of the fluid medium between the top surface of the most recently formed lamina and the top surface of the fluid medium. An acoustic field is then established in the fluid medium such that this acoustic field exists in at least part of the layer of the fluid medium between the top surface of the most recently formed lamina and the top surface of the fluid medium. The solid reinforcing material is thereby moved with said acoustic force field. A three-dimensional reinforced object is thereby produced.

  • Patent number: 4270652
Abstract: There is provided for use with a conveyor, an unloading apparatus for automatically removing a stack of sheets from a succession of shelves or bins, as in a collator, and conveying it to a desired location. The unloading apparatus includes a gripper which is adapted to advance to grip the sheets as presented on a shelf and then retract to insert the stack of sheets onto a conveyor, e.g. a tape conveyor. The gripper includes a four-bar linkage whereby the upper one of its jaws is elevated from a position beneath the plane of travel of the stack of sheets into gripping relation with the stack by a spring biased over-center action. The gripper with the stack is moved linearly onto the conveyor which takes over from the gripper to continue the movement of the stack of sheets. At the delivery end of the gripper stroke, the four-bar linkage is actuated in an opposite direction, the stack released, and the upper jaw retracted out of the path of the stack.

  • Patent number: 4193658
Abstract: The present invention relates to a plug and its method of manufacture. The plug is of the type having a two piece, insulative housing and flat-bladed terminals. More particularly, the method of manufacture includes a continuous molding operation wherein a plurality of cavities are spaced about the circumference of a wheel.

  • Patent number: 4023896
Abstract: The camera portion of a photocopy machine employs a vacuum platen type of transport for moving photoconductive sheets into exposure-position.The sheets are of one standard size, and are normally properly filled when imaged in one-to-one size relationship with the original, but less than the full sheet is imaged whenever a reduction mode is imposed. The photoconductive sheet is blanket charged over its entire surface before it moves to the image area and therefore, if less than the full frame is exposed, there will be large areas of residual field which will pick up toner and produce toned marginal areas, which is undesirable and wasteful. Whenever the photoconductive sheet is a master, the residual field will print the block in ink on every copy, usually rendering them unfit for use.
