  • Publication number: 20170354286
Abstract: A compact cooking implement includes a pan, a top flange, a handle, and a stand flange. The pan has a rectangular bottom and four perpendicular walls. One of the four walls extends from each of four edges of the bottom. The top flange is disposed on a top edge of the walls of the pan. The top flange extends perpendicularly outward from a top edge of each of the four walls. The handle extends outwardly from the top flange. The stand flange extends from the top flange outwardly at an angle from a plane including the top flange.

  • Patent number: 8254210
Abstract: Techniques include determining coefficients of a complex auto regression (AR) model to fit a complex average spectrum at a base frequency resolution of a set of one or more measured acoustic beams during a time block. Residuals derived by filtering actual data through an inverse of the AR model are determined at frequencies below a first threshold frequency. A quantized spectrum of the residuals is determined at the base frequency resolution. Magnitude, phase, and frequency bin at the base frequency resolution are determined for each peak of a set of one or more narrowband peaks above a second threshold frequency for the set of one or more measured acoustic beams. A message is sent, which indicates without loss the coefficients of the AR model, the quantized spectrum of the residuals, and the frequency bin, magnitude and phase for each peak of the set of one or more narrowband peaks.

  • Patent number: 6510697
Abstract: In a power failure recovery, the operating state before a power failure and present conditions of a cryopump are determined to initiate a regeneration or startup process. Where the refrigerator was operating before power failure, it is turned on during recovery to condense gases in the cryopump. A startup process is initiated where the cryopump was in a startup process before the power failure and present conditions of the cryopump indicate that the cryopump is sufficiently empty or clean. If the operating state and present conditions indicate that a corrosive or hazardous liquid remains in the cryopump, a regeneration process is initiated. If the cryopump was in a shutdown process before the power failure, the cryopanel of the cryopump is refrigerated to a temperature at which gases sublimate from the cryopanel. The temperature of the cryopanel is then maintained until the gases are removed.

  • Patent number: 6154723
Abstract: A three dimensional virtual reality creation, manipulation and editing system including a voice and three dimensional gesture input interface. An operator immersed in a data structure preferably presented in a three dimensional immersion environment interacts with the data structure and performs operations on the data structure in the environment through the voice and gesture input interface. A virtual director receives input from the voice and gesture interface. The director records the input as keyframe values that are necessary time-based spline data points for commanding the display environment to redisplay a recorded spline path for viewing or operational purposes. The voice recognition system accepts commands according to a menu displayed in the three dimensional environment to enable various operational and display functions through the gesture input portion of the interface.

  • Patent number: 5862671
Abstract: A cryopump is regenerated by roughing the cryopump during purging. Purging and roughing is carried out in first a high temperature mode and then a lower ambient temperature mode. In the lower temperature mode, the cryogenic refrigerator is turned on. If the system fails a rough test after roughing at the lower temperature, it is repurged with the rough valve open.
