Abstract: The invention is directed to a motor vehicle with a system for cost-managed startup. The system includes a first data transmission unit for the transmission of data from the motor vehicle to at least one receiving station, and a second data transmission unit that links an instrument for measuring the distance covered by the motor vehicle with the first data transmission unit. The first data transmission unit is provided with a transmitting function and is so designed that data can be transmitted from the vehicle via the transmitting function to the receiving station in a wireless manner continually or at predetermined intervals. The data can then be processed in a central station that is connected with the receiving station.
