  • Patent number: 7851715
Abstract: A fireman switch assembly for activating by a mechanical timer having captive trippers. The assembly includes a mounting plate, a micro-switch, and a lever arm. The mounting plate attaches to the mechanical timer. The micro-switch is attached to the mounting plate. The lever arm is operatively connected to the micro-switch and cooperates with the captive trippers of the mechanical timer to selectively turn the micro-switch ON and OFF.

  • Patent number: 7645159
Abstract: A quick-connector or replaceably attaching at least one electrical component to an electrical box without a need for screws and its method of use. The connector includes a panel and an apparatus. The panel is pivotally connected to the electrical box. The apparatus replaceably attaches the at least one electrical component to the panel without the need for the screws.

  • Patent number: 7552981
Abstract: A left and right hand convertible door enclosure. An apparatus operatively connects to an enclosure and to a door so as to allow the door to convert between left and right hand. The apparatus includes a pair of front corners of a top wall of the enclosure having a pair of blind bores therein, respectively, a pair of side edges of the door being formed into a pair of tubes, respectively, a pair of front corners of a bottom wall of the enclosure having a pair of locking apparatuses, respectively, a pair of front edges of a pair of side walls of the enclosure being formed into a pair of recesses, respectively, and a hinge pin. The hinge pin enters one of the pair of tubes of the door and comes to rest in an associated blind bore in the top wall of the enclosure and in an associated locking apparatus on the bottom wall of the enclosure, depending upon the door being used as a right hand or a left hand.

  • Patent number: 7319199
Abstract: A fusible electric slide switch. A fuse carrier is slidably mounted to a base, and has a pair of recesses holding fuses. A cover captures the fuse carrier between itself and the base, and has a pair of through slots aligning with the pair of recesses when the fuse carrier is in the off position so as to allow access to the fuses, and not aligning with, so as to allow the cover to conceal, the pair of recesses when the fuse carrier is in the on position so as to prevent contact with electrical components by a user. The cover further has spring contacts aligning with the pair of recesses when the fuse carrier is in the on position so as to apply a force to maintain the fuses in the pair of recesses.

  • Patent number: 6930268
Abstract: A non-fused electrical slide switch. A handle assembly is operatively connected to a base, between on and off positions, and movable relative to a cover. The base has two pair of raised landings rising above four contact strips. Each pair of raised landings are disposed between one load and one line contact strip of the four contact strips and between the one load contact strip and partitions of the base, respectively. A shoe assembly includes a pair of contact shoes and at least one pair of springs biasing the pair of contact shoes. Depending portions of each contact shoe are in direct contact with associated load and line contact strips allowing electrical communication therebetween. The two pair of raised landings prevent arcing as the handle assembly traverses the on/off positions by raising the depending portions of each contact shoe immediately after they leave contact with the associated load and line contact strips.

  • Patent number: 6827230
Abstract: A sidewards opening rain tight electrical enclosure including a box and a door pivotally and slidably mounted to the box by a hinge. The box has a front, a pair of side walls, and a top wall with a lip depending therefrom over, but slightly spaced away from, the front and the pair of side walls of the box so as to form a gap therebetween. The hinge allows the door to slide down relative to the box, pivot relative to the box onto the front of the box, and slide up relative to the box and be positioned in the gap for allowing the lip to prevent rain from entering behind the door. The box has a latch slidably mounted to the bottom wall thereof and extendable therefrom through the door so as to prevent the door from sliding back down relative to the box once closed.

  • Patent number: 6791039
Abstract: A multi-terminal electrical safety switch that simultaneously closes or simultaneously opens electrical circuits connected thereto. The switch includes a terminal block and a current path completer/breaker. The terminal block has the electrical circuits connected thereto and the current path completer/breaker is replaceably engaged with the terminal block. The current path completer/breaker simultaneously completes current paths through the terminal block when engaged with the terminal block and thereby simultaneously closes the electrical circuits connected to the terminal block.

  • Patent number: 6753485
Abstract: A rotary switch containing fuse capabilities. An electrical contact disc is rotatively mounted in a housing. A handle assembly is mounted to the electrical contact disc and rotates therewith, and is replaceably mounted in the housing so as to allow the handle assembly to be removed from the housing and prevent inadvertent operation of the rotary switch. A pin extends in the handle assembly and a fuse retainer and engages a horse shoe clip, and in doing so, axially movably attaches the fuse retainer to a fuse-holding disc. The pin then extends in a bushing. A pair of blind slots in the pin engage a hair pin clip, and in so doing, the handle assembly can rotate relative to, but cannot be removed from, the housing, unless the pin is rotated 90 degrees, which would orientate the pair of through slots out of engagement with the hair pin clip.
