  • Publication number: 20240144286
Abstract: Techniques for patient medical care are disclosed. These techniques include identifying a plurality of rules relating to a purchase of a medical item. The techniques further include selecting a first rule, of the plurality of rules, to apply to the purchase, including generating a specificity score for each of the plurality of rules, based on setting one or more bit values in each specificity score using matching criteria between the respective rule and the purchase and comparing the specificity scores for the plurality of rules. The techniques further include facilitating supply of the medical item to a patient based on completing the purchase using the selected first rule.

  • Publication number: 20240140819
Abstract: The invention provides a process for preparing molybdenum and tungsten oxyhalide compounds which are useful in the deposition of molybdenum and tungsten containing films on various surfaces of microelectronic devices. In the process of the invention, a molybdenum or tungsten trioxide is heated in either a solid state medium or in a melt-phase reaction comprising a eutectic blend comprising alkaline and/or alkaline earth metal salts. The molybdenum or tungsten oxyhalides thus formed may be isolated as a vapor and crystallized to provide highly pure precursor compounds such as MoO2Cl2.

  • Patent number: 11971820
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices that support variable modulation schemes for memory are described. A device may switch between different modulation schemes for communication based on one or more operating parameters associated with the device or a component of the device. The modulation schemes may involve amplitude modulation in which different levels of a signal represent different data values. For instance, the device may use a first modulation scheme that represents data using two levels and a second modulation scheme that represents data using four levels. In one example, the device may switch from the first modulation scheme to the second modulation scheme when bandwidth demand is high, and the device may switch from the second modulation scheme to the first modulation scheme when power conservation is in demand. The device may also, based on the operating parameter, change the frequency of the signal pulses communicated using the modulation schemes.

  • Patent number: 5365991
Abstract: A moving slide has a pair of flexible curtains mounted to its front and rear surfaces, the curtains being attached at opposite ends to front and rear support posts mounted to a base. The support posts have upper and lower pulleys. A cable is connected to the front of the slide and runs in this fashion: first horizontally across the top pulley, thence to the lower pulley, thence to the other support post, thence upwardly and finally around to the horizontal portion which connects to the rear of the slide. The cable is tensioned to a predetermined load which remains constant throughout the slide travel as the front and rear horizontal portions of the cable move. The flexible curtains are suspended from, but are not rigidly attached to, the cable. Thus, as the curtains expand and contract, the moving horizontal portions of the tensioned cable ride smoothly through the curtains, maintaining curtain support.

  • Patent number: 4292138
Abstract: This invention relates to an improved apparatus and process for controlling heat input to a fractionation tower so that a proper energy balance is maintained. The apparatus and method for controlling a fractionation tower and process wherein feed and heat flow into the tower and feed is distilled and separated into distillate and bottoms, said distillate flowing from the tower through an overhead line into a condenser where it is allowed to condense before it is drawn off as product with a portion of this product being returned to the tower as reflux, and said bottoms being allowed to at least partially collect in the tower thereby establishing a liquid level which is allowed to fluctuate within predetermined limits, which method comprises generating and using the signal:Q.sub.I =Kp(K.sub.R +K.sub.D -K.sub.F)whereQ.sub.I is the heat required by the fractionation tower;Kp is the pressure controller output signal;K.sub.R is the reflux flow rate signal;K.sub.D is the distillate flow rate signal;K.sub.
