  • Publication number: 20240118286
Abstract: The field of biomarker detection and drug development is constantly in pursuit of more accurate, reliable, rapid, and inexpensive technology. Methods and systems for quantifying an analyte of interest disclosed herein include steps of obtaining a sample, spiking the sample with the analyte of interest, separating and detecting the sample using LC-MS, and calculating a linear regression of a sample using analytical techniques are described herein. Further, these methods and systems preclude the use and/or calculation of endogenous amounts of analyte present in a sample, yielding to methods and systems that provide increased speed and accuracy for measuring sample analytes.

  • Publication number: 20230213490
Abstract: Disclosed herein are embodiments of methods for oligonucleotide analysis using a novel solid-phase extraction and hydrophilic-interaction liquid chromatography. The unique polar-based retention methods provided herein provide a high-recovery extraction. The methods improve assay reliability and reproducibility and reach picomolar sensitivity with the demonstrably beneficial accurate mass platform. Also disclosed herein are systems and computer program products for performing these methods.

  • Patent number: 11662335
Abstract: Methods of LC-MS analysis of oligonucleotides free of ion-pairing reagents are disclosed herein. Historically, ion-pairing reagents have been used for acceptable extraction and chromatography prior to mass spectral analysis. The disclosure herein presents methods free of ion-pairing reagents at each stage, from extraction through the LC-MS endpoint. Also disclosed herein are systems for performing these methods.

Historically, ion-pairing reagents have been used for acceptable extraction and chromatography prior to mass spectral analysis. The disclosure herein presents methods free of ion-pairing reagents at each stage, from extraction through the LC-MS endpoint. The methods improve assay reliability and reproducibility, extend column lifetimes, and decrease instrumental downtime previously necessary to remove ion-pairing reside. Also disclosed herein are systems for performing these methods.

  • Patent number: 10641584
Abstract: The present technology regards a de-coupled V-hull structure for use with an armored vehicle, and energy absorbing crush elements suitable for mounting the V-hull structure in a de-coupled manner to the vehicle. The energy absorbing V-hull structure includes a sloped armor structure forming a cavity having a v-shaped cross-section and a plurality of reinforcing elements, including a backbone, hull stiffeners and lateral supports. The elements are coupled together and supported by energy absorber mounts, extending along each side of the structure. Crush elements suitable for decoupling the V-hull structure are also disclosed, having a uniquely designed housing, a plurality of plates positioned within the housing, and affixation means for securing the crush element to the underside of the vehicle and to the top of the V-hull structure.
    Type: Grant
