  • Patent number: 10432457
Abstract: In general, embodiments of the invention relate to a method for modifying a targeted subset of a table row (consisting of assorted data) on a network element. More specifically, a network element agent, executing on the network element, may request that changes be applied to a portion of the assorted data, hence the targeted subset, without affecting the remainder of the table row (which may include data relevant to the responsibilities of other network element agents). Through the application of masking, changes applied only to the targeted subset may be achieved.

  • Publication number: 20170023292
Abstract: A portable cooler shelf assembly for a cooler is provided. The cooler holds ice, food items, and beverages. The portable cooler shelf assembly comprises an underlying frame having a first side rail, a second side rail, a first end rail, a second end rail, a top surface, and a bottom surface. A top shelf is mounted to the top surface of the underlying frame. A plurality of legs are secured to the bottom surface of the underlying frame. The combined underlying frame, top shelf, and legs are capable of being received within the cooler and the food items and the beverages positionable on the top shelf are elevated above and away from the ice while still ensuring the provisions remain cool and fresh.

  • Patent number: 5469178
Abstract: A low profile antenna system comprises a frame having front and side surfaces for enclosing a printed circuit board supporting a receiver, the front surface of the frame including a first conductive plate, an isolated portion thereof, which couples to the printed circuit board and forms a first portion of a loop antenna. A conductor is coupled to the printed circuit board and forms a second portion of the loop antenna. A second conductive plate is coupled to the frame and forms a rear surface of the frame to completely enclose the printed circuit board. The second conductive plate is capacitively coupled to the conductor thereby enhancing the sensitivity of the loop antenna.

  • Patent number: 5280645
Abstract: A wristworn receiving device suitable for being worn about a wrist comprises a receiver (404) for receiving radio frequency signals on a particular operating frequency, a housing (142) for enclosing the receiver (404), a first wristband section (102) including a first wristband loop antenna portion (118) and a movable clasp member (122), and a second wristband section (104) including a second wristband loop antenna portion (134) terminated in a fixed clasp member (140). The first (118) and second (134) wristband loop antenna portions are partially resonated at the operating frequency. The second wristband loop antenna portion (134) is coupled to the first wristband loop antenna portion (118) and is positioned by the movable clasp member (122) at first (204) and second (202 or 206) positions along the first wristband loop antenna portion (118) so as to form a resonant loop antenna which remains substantially tuned to the operating frequency at the first (204) and second (202 or 206 ) positions.

  • Patent number: 5189431
Abstract: A selective call receiver (100) includes a receiver for receiving a message and a housing (104) for enclosing a receiver (102). A substantially semicircular arcuate recess (106) shaped in a portion of the housing receives a first substantially semicircular arcuate contact (108) that has a substantially arcuate outer surface which provides a non-movable mechanical coupling with the substantially semicircular arcuate recess (106). The first substantially semicircular arcuate contact (108) has a substantially arcuate inner surface, and a second substantially arcuate contact (114) terminates an end of a wrist band antenna (112') which has an outer contact surface for coupling with the substantially arcuate inner surface of the first substantially semicircular arcuate contact (108) thereby forming a movable electrical coupling therebetween.
