    Abstract: The present invention relates to a leak-proof compartment in which a power supply or source may be disposed. The compartment can be utilized in a children's product. In one embodiment, the children's product may include an electronic device for entertaining a child. The leak-proof compartment includes a receptacle having an opening and a cover for closing and sealing the opening. The receptacle is configured to receive the power source and the cover is placed within the opening to seal the compartment. The sealing effect of the cover prevents substances from leaking out of the compartment.
