  • Patent number: 7377335
Abstract: An apparatus and method for the movement of drilling equipment between topographically adjacent drilling locations comprises positioning a transportable planar surface over the adjacent drilling locations between which it is desired to move the equipment. Ports or other access areas extending through the planar surface to the drilling locations below are provided. The equipment to be moved is placed on top of the planar surface and is provided on its bottom with a low-drag surface which can slide across the planar surface. The equipment can be moved from one desired drilling location to another by sliding it between locations on top of the planar surface. When all of the drilling is completed, the equipment can be struck for transport and the planar surface disassembled and moved to a new drilling area. Various methods to move the equipment could be used.

  • Publication number: 20050013401
Abstract: The present invention comprises a portable work station for use during reactor refueling operation to allow inspection/repair of the reactor vessel simultaneously with the removal insertion of fuel cells from and into the reactor due to the work station being sized to fit into the reactor vessel spaced from the wall of the vessel and still clear of the fuel cell area of the reactor vessel to provide a direct view of the wall to personnel on the work platform while the refueling operation is ongoing.

  • Patent number: 6162758
Abstract: In the dehydrogenation of secondary alcohols in the presence of a catalyst comprising zinc oxide and calcium carbonate at elevated temperature in the gas phase, secondary cyclic alcohols are used and the dehydrogenation is carried out in the presence of hydrogen and a catalyst whose active components comprise from 30 to 60% by weight of zinc oxide and from 40 to 70% by weight of calcium carbonate in the calcite modification.

  • Patent number: 6075169
Abstract: In a process for preparing oxidation products of cyclohexane by catalytic oxidation with oxygen-containing gases in the liquid phase, where the gases are brought into contact essentially uniformly with the liquid cyclohexane in a reaction zone, liquid cyclohexane and the oxygen-containing gases are passed in countercurrent through the reaction zone.
