Abstract: A routed part protector for protecting cables, wires, hoses, tubing and the like having a closed slot extending to a central aperture for inserting routed parts to be maintained in the aperture forming an assembly. The assembly can be attached to a vehicle trim panel by double-sided tape or other mechanical means or inserted into a ditch in a vehicle floorboard. The protector has a trapezoidal cross section body whereby the side walls can be deformed to open the slot to permit the routed parts to pass through when assembling the protector to a wire harness. The tape or the ditch then prevents the slot from opening.
