  • Patent number: 8734200
Abstract: In some examples, a toy vehicle playset for a toy vehicle is provided with a track assembly including a vehicle launcher operatively connected to a track. The track defines a travel path, and there is a dispensing assembly including a release mechanism positioned adjacent a portion of the track. A trigger assembly is operably connected to the vehicle launcher and the release mechanism so that activation of the trigger assembly may simultaneously activate the vehicle launcher and the release mechanism.

Date of Patent: May 27, 2014
    Assignee: Mattel, Inc.

  • Publication number: 20070049160
Abstract: Playsets including a partially enclosed circuit and one or more movable members. The partially enclosed circuit may have a plurality of openings that define pathways through the partially enclosed circuit for a toy vehicle to traverse. The movable members may include a redirecting railing and one or more generally vertical handles that are adapted to be grasped to move the movable member on a play surface to redirect the toy vehicle that has exited the partially enclosed circuit to re-enter the circuit. Some embodiments may include inclined and/or cantilevered ramps that may be adapted to release the toy vehicle at a position above the play surface. Some embodiments may include lap counters that are adapted to count a number of times that the toy vehicle has struck a target or gate.

  • Patent number: 6651611
Abstract: A combustion chamber for a swirl flow two valve spark ignition direct injection engine includes a cylinder with a closed end having a wedge shaped combustion chamber recess. A fuel injector extends through the closed end near a shallow side of the wedge recess. A spark plug extends through the closed end at a deeper part of the wedge recess opposite from the injector. A single pair of laterally spaced intake and exhaust valves control intake and exhaust ports opening into the wedge recess. A piston in the cylinder has an outer diameter and includes a head end having a raised pedestal with a shallow upwardly angled face ending at a raised ridge and enclosing a shallow bowl in the head end. The bowl is generally oval with a major dimension generally aligned with a cylinder centerline through the valves.

  • Patent number: 6609034
Abstract: An improved control and monitoring system for managing more than one computer system using a witch with a single connector for keyboard, video and mouse signals for each computer being managed. A notebook style display, keyboard, and pointing device attached to the switch provide a human interface. Each computer is attached to the switch using a cable having a single connector at the attachment point to the switch and separate connectors for keyboard, video, and pointing device signals at the attachment point to each computer, thus allowing a greater density of connections to computers without modifying the computers being controlled and monitored. Even greater densities may be realized by designating one switch as a master and attaching additional switches to the master.
