  • Patent number: 11475021
Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for ranking time dimensions. One example method includes receiving a request for an insight analysis for a dataset that includes a value dimension and a set of multiple date dimensions. Each date dimension is converted into a time series and a value quality factor is determined for each time series that represents a level of data quality for the time series. A time series informative factor is determined for each time series that represents how informative the time series is within a specified time window. An insight score is determined, for each time dimension, based on the determined value quality factors and the determined time series informative factors. The insight score for the time dimension is provided, for at least some of the time dimensions.

  • Publication number: 20210374770
Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for measuring successful interactions with an insight tool. One example method includes receiving a request for insights for a data point of a data visualization. Insights for the data point are identified and presented in an insights interface in a user session. User interactions with the insights interface are tracked during the user session. A determination is made that the user session has completed. At least one insights success rule is identified for determining whether user sessions with the insights interface are successful. The one or more insights success rules are evaluated to determine whether the user session was successful. In response to determining that the user session was successful, a measure of success for the user session is recorded. In response to determining that the user session was unsuccessful, a measure of failure is recorded for the user session.

  • Publication number: 20210365471
Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for generating insights based on numeric and categorical data. One example method includes receiving a request for an insight analysis for a dataset that includes at least one continuous feature and at least one categorical feature. Continuous features can have any value within a range of numerical values and categorical features are enumerated features that can have a value from a predefined set of values. A selection of a first continuous feature for analysis is received, and at least one categorical feature is identified for analysis. A deviation factor and a relationship factor are determined for each identified categorical feature. An insight score is determined for each identified categorical feature that combines the deviation factor and the relationship factor for the categorical feature. The insight score is provided for at least some of the identified categorical features.

  • Publication number: 20180165599
Abstract: Techniques are described for integrating predictive models into applications, to enable the applications to provide predictive functionality. Using the framework according to implementations, predictive models and their supporting libraries may be incorporated into applications without requiring application developers to be knowledgeable regarding the particular features of the predictive models and/or libraries. The framework exposes a common and consistent application programming interface (API) on top of the predictive libraries. Applications can use the API to interact with the predictive models, thus enabling the applications to leverage predictive functionality. Implementations also provide an API which may be used by applications to request the retraining of predictive models.

  • Publication number: 20170364818
Abstract: For a plurality of sensors, a particular sensor is indicated as a target sensor and the other sensors as input sensors. A regression model is trained using historical data from the plurality of related sensors. The trained regression model is applied to the target sensor to generate a predicted target sensor value. A difference between an actual target sensor value and the predicted target sensor value is calculated. A probability of difference for the calculated difference between the actual target sensor value and the predicted target sensor value is compared against a threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20110296757
Abstract: A hydroponics apparatus for growing plants. The apparatus includes a frame attached to a base; the frame includes a frame member having an angled portion at an angle with respect to the base. A plurality of substantially parallel tubes are attached to the angled portion of the frame member, so that the tubes are terraced with respect to each other. Connectors connect the tubes at the ends thereof, thereby forming a single serpentine path for fluid flow. A reservoir is connected to an end of the lowermost tube, for collecting fluid flowing from the tubes. A pump is provided for pumping the fluid into the tubes. In various embodiments, the angled portion of the frame member is at an angle of approximately 45° elevation with respect to the base, and the tubes have netpots for holding the plants.

  • Patent number: 6541712
Abstract: A multi-layer printed circuit board includes a via having a conductive upper portion, a conductive lower portion, and an electrically insulating intermediate portion between the upper and lower portions. In one embodiment, the insulating intermediate portion of the via is provided by a non-platable layer of the circuit board, as may be comprised of PTFE. Vias having a continuous conductive coating may be formed through clearance holes in the non-platable layer which are provided with a platable inner surface, either by filling the hole with a platable material, such as epoxy resin, prior to laminating the board or by chemically conditioning the non-platable material to make it platable. In a further embodiment, the as insulating intermediate portion of the via has a narrower diameter than the conductive upper and lower portions.
