Patent number: 10733200Abstract: A method of matching a plurality of imported data entities to a plurality of existing data entities in a database is disclosed. The method comprises receiving imported data comprising imported data entities each having one or more properties each having one or more values; and causing presentation of a graphical user interface (GUI) that displays values for the one or more properties over the imported data and allows selection of a property having a certain value. The method further comprises receiving first input specifying first matching criteria that is based at least in part on a first subset of one or more properties of the imported data entities; and receiving second input specifying second matching criteria that is different from the first matching criteria and that is based at least in part on a second subset of the one or more properties of the imported data entities, wherein the second subset of the one or more properties is different than the first subset of one or more properties.Type: GrantFiled: November 13, 2017Date of Patent: August 4, 2020Assignee: Palantir Technologies Inc.Inventors: Robert McGrew, Stephen Cohen

Publication number: 20180005331Abstract: Systems and techniques for sharing healthcare fraud data are described herein. Healthcare fraud detection schemes and/or fraud data may be automatically shared, investigated, enabled, and/or used by entities. A healthcare fraud detection scheme may be enabled on different entities comprising different computing systems to combat similar healthcare fraud threats, instances, and/or attacks. Healthcare fraud detection schemes and/or fraud data may be modified to redact sensitive information and/or configured through access controls for sharing.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 16, 2017Publication date: January 4, 2018Inventors: Lekan Wang, Melody Hildebrandt, Tayler Cox, Chris Burchhardt, Casey Ketterling, Ajay Sudan, Robert McGrew, Jacob Albertson, Harkirat Singh, Shyam Sankar, Rick Ducott, Peter Maag, Marissa Kimball

Patent number: 9846731Abstract: Entity resolution in a database comprises receiving imported data comprising imported data entities each having properties each having values; receiving first user input that selects the imported data entities for resolution to existing data entities in a database; receiving second user input that specifies matching criteria for matching the imported data entities to the existing data entities, wherein each of the matching criteria comprises a matching technique; matching the imported data entities to the existing data entities using the matching criteria, resulting in creating and storing matched entity information, wherein the matched entity information is organized in matched entity data sets associated with subsets of the matching criteria that were matched; consolidating the imported data entities into the existing data entities; storing the first user input and second user input as a named criteria set for use in subsequent entity resolution operations.Type: GrantFiled: November 22, 2016Date of Patent: December 19, 2017Assignee: Palantir Technologies, Inc.Inventors: Robert McGrew, Stephen Cohen

Patent number: 5234552Abstract: A vapor condensor connected to a glycol reboiler to prevent emissions of aromatic compounds from glycol dehydration from escaping into the atmosphere. Steam and vaporized hydrocarbons are directed into the vapor condenser where they are sprayed with 80 degree or below Fahrenheit water. The water spray cools the steam and vaporized hydrocarbons so that a substantial portion of the vapors are changed to a liquid phase which is collected in an accumulator located below the vapor condenser. A water jacket surrounding a central cylinder of the vapor condenser tends to keep the condensed vapors in the liquid phase. The remaining vaporized hydrocarbons which are not condensed are drawn out of the accumulator and burned in a burner connected to the glycol reboiler. The steam and vaporized hydrocarbons in the glycol reboiler have an initial temperature in range of 350 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.Type: GrantFiled: September 10, 1991Date of Patent: August 10, 1993Inventors: Robert McGrew, John P.
