  • Publication number: 20260112662
Abstract: A fuel cell electrical power system includes a first fuel cell module, a second fuel cell module, a heat exchanger, a common coolant, a first coolant piping branch, and a second coolant piping branch. A first pump and two valves are disposed on the first coolant branch, and a second pump and two valves are disposed on the second coolant branch. The fuel cell electrical power system is capable of functioning in a condition in which the second fuel cell module and the second pump are not operating to cause substantially all of the flow of coolant fluid generated by the first pump to circulate through the common coolant piping and to circulate substantially none of the flow of the coolant fluid generated by the first pump through the second fuel cell module.

  • Patent number: 11824234
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a fuel cell electrical power system, a first fuel cell module, a second fuel cell module, a heat exchanger, a common coolant, a first coolant piping branch, and a second coolant piping branch. A first pump and a first valve are disposed on the first coolant branch, and a second pump and a second valve are disposed on the second coolant branch. The fuel cell electrical power system is capable of functioning in a condition in which the second fuel cell module and the second pump are not operating to cause substantially all of the flow rate of coolant fluid produced by the first pump to circulate through the common coolant piping and to circulate substantially none of the flow rate of the coolant fluid produced by the first pump through the second fuel cell module.

  • Publication number: 20060289072
Abstract: A wastegate valve and associated method for controlling a flow of gas, such as a flow of exhaust gas from an exhaust inlet of a turbocharger, are provided. The wastegate valve includes multiple bypass ports that are selectively opened and closed by poppets, which are controlled by a linkage. The poppets are configured so that the pressure of the gas in the exhaust inlet biases one of the poppets to the open position and one of the poppets to the closed position. Thus, the forces resulting from the pressure of the gas on the poppets are offset, thereby reducing the force required for adjusting or maintaining the position of the linkage and the poppets.

  • Publication number: 20050229351
Abstract: A windshield wiper apparatus comprises a forced air supply device, a windshield wiper blade assembly and an air delivery tube. The windshield wiper blade assembly includes an air duct having a plurality of air outlets and an air inlet. The air delivery tube is connected between the forced air supply device and the air inlet of the windshield wiper blade assembly. The forced air supply device is configured for supplying heated air to the windshield wiper blade assembly. The windshield wiper blade assembly includes a windshield wiper blade housing and the windshield wiper blade housing comprises the air duct. The windshield wiper blade housing includes a plurality of blade-carrying segments and a first one of said segments is flexibly attached to a second one of said segments.

  • Patent number: 6324070
Abstract: A scanner having a serviceable circuit board assembly with a stair-stepping configuration. The scanner has a card cage for mounting circuit boards in the rear of the scanner. The card cage has an access opening. A first circuit board and a second circuit board are mounted inside the card cage. The first circuit board forms a notch. The second circuit board has a viewable portion that is viewable and accessible through the access opening and the notch. The test points and light emitting diodes are positioned within the viewable portion of the second circuit board.
