  • Publication number: 20250097494
Abstract: Various arrangements for authorizing content viewing are detailed herein. Sports wager data corresponding to a sports wager placed by a user may be provided to a provider system. The provider system can perform a lookup action to determine a content event based on the sports wager data. In response to the received sports wager data, a user account may be authorized using a rights scheme for access to content. The provider system may deauthorized the user account for access to the content by removing the rights scheme such that access to the content is later blocked.

  • Publication number: 20250097529
Abstract: System, methods, and machine-readable media to facilitate adaptive content composite interaction with respect to digitally distributed content are disclosed. Discovery may be performed, and events specified for digital distribution may be detected. A particular endpoint identifier mapped to media devices may be detected. Events may be determined as a function of access specifications. Content objects corresponding to the events may be received from a remote system via a network. Content composites corresponding to mapping specifications may be created for each content object with selecting and configuring an adaptable content object with the content object to form a content composite to facilitate presentation of the content composite.

  • Patent number: 12250341
Abstract: A system for monitoring phone numbers includes a computing device having at least one processor and memory associated with the processor. A telephone network supports a plurality of telephone numbers. The computing device is configured to obtain data directly from the telephone network. The data indicates call activity involving the phone numbers, respectively, during a time period having a preselected duration. The computing device determines, for each of the phone numbers, whether the data indicates that there were no successfully answered calls placed to the phone number during the time period. For any such phone number, the computing device places a test call to the phone number. In the event that the test call is not successful, the computing device provides an indication of a problem with the phone number.

  • Patent number: 12008681
Abstract: Systems and methods of testing a vehicle system. The systems and methods generate a simulation of a driving scenario to provide simulation video data, display the simulation on a monitor using the simulation video data, capture the displayed simulation using a camera system of the vehicle system to provide video data, process the video data using a perception algorithm to detect and track objects in the video data to provide perception data, control a vehicle actuator of the vehicle system in response to the perception data to provide command data, and adapt the simulation based on the command data. The camera system has a field of view and the monitor has a viewable area. The simulation of the driving scenario is scaled in proportion to a ratio of the field of view of the camera projected onto the monitor and dimensions of the viewable area.

  • Publication number: 20230328097
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems disclosed herein measure endpoint user security event susceptibility (e.g., a malware infection) and provide information for endpoint posture evaluation. A relatively small software application may be installed using, for example, a systems management push system where the software runs on each endpoint system and reports back to a central repository or base system. The software runs on machines that it is pushed to and generates a score for that endpoint. That score is a quantification of endpoint user security risk, i.e., the likelihood that a particular endpoint is likely to be the source of a security event at some point in the future. This information may be used to generate a Relative Score for each endpoint so that the endpoints can be ranked from most secure to least secure and an Absolute Score so that a given distributed system can be compared to other distributed systems.

  • Patent number: 11574117
Abstract: Embeddable extensions of the functionality of email and calendaring applications are described herein. An originating email and calendaring application formats meeting items to include extensible content, e.g., within the body field of the meeting item. Recipient email and calendaring applications receive the meeting items and, depending on whether they are configured to provide an extended functionality, will either deploy the extensible content item according to the extended functionality or present the extensible content item according to a standardized functionality. The body field includes the extensible content item according to the standardized functionality that is interpretable by configured clients to provide the extended functionality.

  • Patent number: 11513092
Abstract: The invention is directed to a gas sensor that includes a hotplate, a support structure, a gas selective filter, and circuitry. The support structure is configured to define a cavity. The gas selective filter is held by the support structure and spans the cavity. Various components are connected to the circuitry, and may include a temperature sensor element, a gas sensing element, and a heater. The temperature sensor element is configured to sense a temperature Tf of the filter. The gas sensing element is sensitive to a target gas in the cavity. The heater is in thermal communication with the gas sensing element. The circuitry is configured to operate the sensing element, estimate a temperature Tf of the filter, and regulate the heater. The circuitry regulates an extent to which power is supplied to the heater based on the estimated temperature Tf of the filter.

  • Publication number: 20220324532
Abstract: Chips removably attached to a bicycle frame allow different size hubs and axles to be connected to a frame. As the frame represents a major part of the investment in a bicycle, the chips allow a single frame to accommodate different wheels. The user can then use a wheel having the appropriate tire and attachments for the terrain to be traversed. For instance, a particular wheel and tire would be used for a downhill mountain trail, another wheel used for riding on paved surfaces and a third wheel hub would be used for loose surfaces, such as sand or gravel. Therefore, the user is able to adapt the bicycle for a variety of different terrains and uses.

  • Publication number: 20210334920
Abstract: A system that characterizes majors and academic courses with vectors that can be matched to testable student interests is provided. Majors and courses can then be recommended by a matching of student interests with characterized courses. The system combines elements of both psychology and technology, to greatly reduce the challenge of selecting courses and majors, by automating parts of the complex selection process to produce understandable options. Improved matching of majors and courses to individuals can provide multiple benefits including improved educational outcomes, enhanced student retention, and significant reduction in student debt.
