  • Publication number: 20160198278
Abstract: Systems and methods for audio waveform clipping detection and indication are described herein. For example, an audio waveform clipping detection and indication system may include a first comparator, a second comparator, a timer, and an indicator. The first comparator may determine if an audio signal is present, the second comparator may determine if a slope of the audio signal is a shallow slope, and the timer may at least determine if the slope of the audio signal is a shallow slope for a threshold amount of time. An indication of clipping may be provided by an indicator based on outputs of the first and second comparators and the timer. The indication may provide feedback of audio waveform clipping.
