  • Patent number: 11790617
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention relate to methods and devices for receiving and presenting content. In an example method, content is received, the content to be delivered to a plurality of recipients. Each recipient of the plurality of recipients has a preference for a respective first physical location at which the content is to be presented on a display of a wearable head device associated with the recipient. A sender of the content has a preference for a second physical location at which the content is to be presented to the respective recipient of the plurality of recipients. A respective final physical location for the presentation of the content for the respective recipient of the plurality of recipients is identified. The respective final physical location is based on the respective recipient's preference and the sender's preference. It is determined whether the respective recipient is proximate to a zone associated with the respective final physical location.

  • Publication number: 20230324980
Abstract: Described are context-aware low-power systems and methods that reduce power consumption in compute circuits such as commonly available machine learning hardware accelerators that carry out a large number of arithmetic operations when performing convolution operations and related computations. Various embodiments exploit the fact that power demand for a series of computation steps and many other functions a hardware accelerator performs is highly deterministic, thus, allowing for energy needs to be anticipated or even calculated to a certain degree. Accordingly, power supply output may be optimized according to actual energy needs of compute circuits. In certain embodiments this is accomplished by proactively and dynamically adjusting power-related parameters according to high-power and low-power operations to benefit a machine learning circuit and to avoid wasting valuable power resources, especially in embedded computing systems.

  • Patent number: 11749480
Abstract: A latching assembly for latching the moving conductor assembly of a circuit interrupter after an opening stroke includes a streamlined latch that omits components commonly prone to damage during latching operations in existing latching assemblies. The disclosed latching assembly comprises a fixed latch block, a driven latch rotatably coupled to the latch block, and a pivoting hammer with a square pin positioned to always be engaged with the driven latch. The latching assembly is structured to be engaged by a switch shaft once an opening stroke is initiated. When the latching assembly engages, the hammer square pin pushes the driven latch into engagement with a shelf formed in the switch shaft, which prevents the switch shaft from rebounding after the opening stroke. Rebounding is further prevented due to the hammer being structured to be biased toward the open state once the driven latch has engaged the switch shaft shelf.

  • Patent number: 11742169
Abstract: An ultra-fast moving conductor for use with a circuit breaker is provided. The moving conductor includes a hollow outer stem and a removable core. Multiple removable cores are produced for use with the moving conductor for different purposes. The outer stem is produced from annealed copper that must be brazed before the circuit breaker is placed into operation, and a first removable core produced from copper is inserted into the outer stem to provide structural reinforcement to the outer stem during brazing. After brazing is complete, the copper core is removed from the outer stem, and a significantly lighter work hardened aluminum core is inserted into the outer stem. The lightweight aluminum core enables the moving conductor to open the circuit breaker much faster than the copper core would, and the copper core prevents contamination of the brazing furnace that would result from using the aluminum core during brazing.
