    Abstract: During startup or boot of a device, software or firmware associated with a processor and/or microcontroller of the device slow walks the handover of control to critical initialization or steady-state functions to account for any instability due to an electrical transient that may cause the processor and/or microcontroller to perform erratically or non-deterministically during startup or boot. The wait time associated with the slow-walk handover of control is optimized to ensure that no instability due to transients is present when the wait time expires. In an embodiment, after the wait time expires, firmware/software associated with the bootloader and/or Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) may further continuously calculate a checksum value for the corresponding target software/firmware and compare the calculated value against an expected checksum value. When the calculated checksum matches the expected checksum, remaining portions of the firmware/software for the bootloader and/or BIOS are given control.

The system identifies, based on the request, a smart contract associated with the subscriber device. The smart contract comprises one or more conditions for collecting and managing the user data. The system generates a token based on the smart contract, in which the token indicates consent by a user to share the user data with the subscriber device according to the one or more conditions. The system records the generated token to a blockchain.

    Abstract: An assembly for manufacturing the insulation layer of a Thomson coil includes a base plate, a coil housing, and a cover plate. The base plate securely seats the coil housing, and the coil housing securely seats a Thomson coil and the cover plate. The cover plate has several ribs that hold multiple turns of a Thomson coil in place while epoxy is applied to the coil, thus ensuring that the epoxy is evenly distributed on the coil surface and that the coil windings remain level. The cover plate and coil housing are structured to either receive a high-pressure epoxy injection or to be used in an epoxy potting process, during which all exposed areas of the Thomson coil are coated by liquid epoxy. After the epoxy has solidified, the Thomson coil is coupled to the coil housing, and the housed and insulated Thomson coil is removed from the assembly.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to methods, systems, and devices for replacing a token on a user device, such as a transaction card. The transaction card includes tokens representing an actual account identifier which is not visible on the transaction card. The transaction card may store a first token on a and include a digital display that displays a second token. When the first token or the second token is compromised, the compromised token is replaced without replacing the transaction card. When the second token is compromised, the compromised token is replaced with a new replacement second token using an electronic device. The replacement second token replaces the old second token on the digital display. After the second token is compromised and before the replacement second token is provisioned on the transaction card, the transaction card may still be used for transactions using other tokens provisioned on the card.
