  • Patent number: 10267429
Abstract: An improved life hydraulic valve actuator for a mold used in an injection molding machine. The actuator includes a housing for insertion into a hot runner assembly having a movable valve gate pin. A bore in the housing for receives an actuation piston which is connected to the gate pin. A hydraulic chamber in the assembly lifts the piston upward and downward for actuation of the pin in a valve gate. The actuation piston includes a centrally located circumferential double lip seal. The wall of the bore includes a pair of circumferential seals for engaging the outer circumference of the piston. The seals are positioned axially on either side of said centrally located double lip seal of the piston for sealing and guiding the piston. The circumferential bore seals include a Teflon ring which protects the bore in the event of seal failure and a second seal made of a Viton material. The seals in combination increase the longevity of the actuator over three fold than a similar actuation valve.

The disclosure includes processing the Operating System Deployment (OSD) functionality of a Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) to configure a server, wherein the OSD causes the server to a Pre-boot Execution Environment (PXE Boot). The SCCM may be launched for the PXE boot process to be associated with the server and configure the SCCM to associate with a specific OSD Task Sequence. Boot from a Network Interface Card (NIC) that has an associated MAC address, using the PXE, wherein the PXE boot process then hands the operation over to the designated OSD Task Sequencer (TS) which handles the configuration process according to at least one variable.

Abstract: A gas detector is tested by releasing detectable gas from a storage medium and delivering it to the gas detector. A cartridge for delivering detectable gas includes a container with an outlet and a storage medium in the container. Detectable gas is stored in the storage medium for being desorbed from the storage medium. A test device can include a receptacle for receiving the cartridge, an interface for fluidly coupling the device to a gas detector, and passaging to provide fluid communication between the interface and both the cartridge received in the receptacle and external air. A pump can pump external air and the detectable gas released from the cartridge through the passaging and interface such that the pumped detectable gas and air form a proportioned mixture for testing the gas detector.
