Abstract: A method for making a decorative ornament includes mouth blowing a first thin-walled glass object and cutting the first mouth blown thin walled glass object into first and second modules. The first and second modules are dimensionally and spatially correlated, where the removal of the second module results in an a first module that forms the decorative ornament, the ornament having an opening therein corresponding to the removed second module.

Abstract: The invention concerns a thin-walled, blown glass ornament that may be repeatedly opened and closed. It is comprised of a spherical, spatial body consisting of at least two modules, top (1) and bottom (2) jointly connected with each other by means of an articulating hinge (5) or elastic band and at least one lock (4) situated on the rim of each module. The top module (1) comprises at least one spatial body and the bottom module (2) may feature a flat bottom (8). At least one additional miniature ornamental object (9) is situated inside the ornament that opens. Both modules may also be connected by means of locks (4).

Abstract: The method of manufacturing thin-walled blown glass single layer ornaments with an open spatial body consists in obtaining a raw glass shell with a closed spatial body (10), which is opened by such operations like cutting through, cutting out or cutting off along division lines (12) by means of a mechanical saw, blowpipe or laser, and thus obtained open spatial bodies (14) undergo further treatment in order for the edges to be smoothed, to be joined with other details and for the surfaces to be decorated.

Abstract: The method of producing Christmas tree decorations as well as other decorative items from thin-walled blown glass where the suspension or the fastening axis of the decorative item is located on the blowing axis or outside the blowing axis consists in shaping, after plastification and blowing, of the glass bulb through the stay (4) in order to represent the inside of the mould in the first stage of blowing with the shaping limitations of the shell obtained. Inside the mould (1) there is a closed shaping element in the form of a protrusion (9) which serves the balanced fastening of the hanging element in the first stage of blowing as well as a protrusion (6) for bonding the subsequent elements of the decorative item. The closed protrusion for bonding is secured with a symmetric (3) or an asymmetric (16) plug.
