Abstract: An electromagnetic locking system for cabinet doors and drawers having a single actuator which turns on and off a power supply which in turn turns on and off a plurality of locking assemblies. The locking assemblies are attached to the framework of the openings for an existing cabinet's doors and/or drawers. Each locking assembly has a matching armature plate attached to the corresponding door or drawer for each particular opening. When turned on, the locking assemblies generate an electromagnetic field that attract their matching armature plates and secure them against the locking assemblies thereby securing and locking the door or drawer against the cabinet framework restricting access into the cabinet.
