Instruments in an exemplary system can include an adjustable double tibial stylus instrument comprising: a first wide stylus tip at a first distal end of a first stylus and a second wide stylus tip at a second distal end of the second stylus, and a first gap measurement instrument having a measurement end, wherein the measurement end comprises a first measurement end distal surface that is congruent with a first tip distal surface of the first wide stylus tip. The wide stylus tips may be fixed components of the adjustable double stylus instrument, or the wide stylus tips may be detachable.
