Abstract: A golf club shaft having adjustability features, made as a composite device whose shaft members are connected by their adjacent faces having a tapered nature by which a wedging action is achieved by their assembly. The adjustability is particularly advantageous in the market situation by which the golf clubs are conventionally sold by the manufacturer for intended modification or custom-fitting by the person or business which tailors the club's shaft to the precise needs of the golfing customer. The easy assembly achieves a firm and positive holding together the shaft members, achieving desired variations in the club characteristics of length, weight and swing-effect, etc.

Abstract: A novel head for a golf putter. Its block body has a recess which extends completely from the bottom sole to the top face of the block body, the recess having side faces and a forward-facing back face.A supplemental body, which is formed from a material which is substantially lighter in specific gravity than the specific gravity of the remainder of the block body, fills the recess, extending between the side faces of the recess, and forwardly from the back face of the recess completely forwardly of the block body, providing the hitting surface in hitting the ball.Other features are provided.

Abstract: A novel head for a golf putter. A block body has a sole and at least one side wall extending upwardly, with a supplemental body inlaid onto the block body. One edge of the supplemental body is positioned contiguously adjacent the block body's side wall. The supplemental body is formed of laminated strips of stock of differing colors, and the strips are cut at two angles to the block body, a variation in coloration appearing by the exposed end portions of successive sheets of stock. The cutting of the strips of stock is done after the supplemental body is inlaid onto the block body, providing that the adjacent portions of the block body's side wall and the supplemental body are flush with respect to one another, with the block body's side wall serving as a template. The cutting at a compound angle achieves a design of lining and coloration which is other than fore-and-aft.
