  • Patent number: 11702143
Abstract: A hood for closing a compartment of a vehicle includes an outer panel forming a vehicle body outer side portion of the hood. The hood further includes a cooling channel structure arranged at an inner side portion of the outer panel, wherein the cooling channel structure is adapted for transferring a cooling fluid from a vehicle component and back to the vehicle component such that heat is exchanged via the outer panel with the vehicle surroundings.

  • Patent number: 10901080
Abstract: A system is provided for monitoring and predicting traffic conditions in a vicinity of a system vehicle having a stop indicator system. The system may include one or more radar modules programmed to detect target vehicles traveling within a predetermined radar detection area near the system vehicle. The radar modules may be further programmed to detect signals associated with target vehicles and generate signals indicative of alert conditions. The radar modules may be programmed to execute various algorithms which generate alert condition signals in response to determining and analyzing a current distance, a braking distance, and/or a velocity of the target vehicle detected in the radar detection area. The system can communicate appropriate alert notifications in response to the generated alert condition signals.

  • Publication number: 20200343822
Abstract: A power cable device to supply electrical power from an alternative current (AC) source to a direct current (DC) vehicle battery having positive and negative terminals The device includes a first cable segment having an AC-DC converter configured to convert AC line voltage to DC voltage required to operate a vehicle battery, An AC input cord is configured to convey AC power from an AC source to the AC-DC converter. The AC input cord has an AC cord first end and an AC cord second end. The AC cord first end has an AC plug configured to engage with the AC power source. The AC cord second end is in electrical communication with the AC-DC converter. A first DC cord is configured to convey DC power from the AC-DC converter to a first coupling. The first DC cord has a first DC cord first end and a first DC cord second end. The first DC cord first end is in electrical communication with the AC-DC converter. The first DC cord second end has the first coupling attached thereon.

  • Publication number: 20200132803
Abstract: A radar module is provided for use in association with monitoring and predicting traffic conditions in the vicinity of a system vehicle having a stop indicator system. The radar module may include a data application module having logic circuitry for generating signals indicative of alert conditions associated with target vehicles traveling through a defined radar detection area near the system vehicle. The radar module may be programmed to execute various algorithms Which generate alert condition signals in response to determining and analyzing a current distance, a braking distance, and/or a velocity of target vehicles detected in the radar detection area.
