Patent number: 5824327Abstract: A skin whitening cosmetic composition of kojic dipalmitate. When used in an anhydrous cream, the kojic dipalmitate is present in parts by weight from 0.01 to 25%, more particularly 0.2 to 8.0% and most preferably 0.4 to 4.0%. When forming an anhydrous serum, one uses the same kojic dipalmitate concentration but of a much lower viscosity. To form an anhydrous ointment, the same concentrations are used with 2-8% wax from each of the following wax groups: microcrystalline wax; animal waxes such as beeswax; vegetable waxes such as rice wax; and, hydrocarbon waxes such as paraffin. The same kojic dipalmitate concentration may be used with anhydrous alcohol to form a fine anhydrous spray.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 1998Date of Patent: October 20, 1998Inventors: Jerry Whittemore, Robert Neis

Patent number: 5431331Abstract: A braze fixture has side walls forming a cavity with an opening to receive a stack of parts to be brazed. Sidewalls of the housing have a plurality of bearing receiving openings into which bearing rods or jaws are inserted to align the stacked elements of the workpiece. The housing can also have view ports to allow a visual check of the alignment. Straps or wires around the fixture are selected to have thermal characteristics similar to the thermal characteristics of the workpiece undergoing brazing. The straps or wires make physical contact with the bearing rods thereby causing bearing rods to maintain the workpiece in proper alignment throughout the entire brazing cycle.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 1994Date of Patent: July 11, 1995Inventors: Robert Ney, Alex J. Perrone

Patent number: 4638117Abstract: An electrical cable, for communication purposes, having spaced-apart, insulated electrical conductors, between each two of which is disposed a portion having a block-shaped cross section, with a plurality of tension-absorbing elements of high-strength fibers being disposed in this portion. The problem in the past has been that the flexibility of the cable is limited by the specific breaking elongation of the fibers. To resolve this problem, and to improve the flexibility primarily for termination and connection purposes, the cable has an arbitrary number of tension-absorbing elements which are arbitrarily distributed, even in an unsymmetrical manner, in the tension-absorbing block of the cable. The electrical conductors are placed on the bending axis of the cable, which is determined by the tension-absorbing elements, the effect of the conductors on the bending properties, and the casing material.Type: GrantFiled: June 14, 1985Date of Patent: January 20, 1987Assignee: Lynenwerk GmbH & Co. KommanditgesellschaftInventor: Robert Ney

Patent number: 4151237Abstract: In the production of electric cable in an extruder head having undulated tension relief elements embedded in the jacket, the jacketing material and tension relief elements are introduced at a velocity greater than the cable core, with such velocity being subsequently decreased to provide a compressive force which forms the undulations.Type: GrantFiled: January 6, 1978Date of Patent: April 24, 1979Assignee: Lynenwerk GmbH & Co. KGInventor: Robert Ney
