  • Patent number: 12097769
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for influencing electromagnetic forces of an electric traction motor, a higher-order harmonic (336) being superimposed on an actuating variable (udq) for the electric traction motor in a manner which is dependent on a rotational speed of the electric traction motor, a torque of the electric traction motor, a temperature at the electric traction motor, or a three-phase current or a three-phase voltage of the electric traction motor for the generation of a resulting actuating variable (uabc), the electric traction motor being actuated in a manner which is dependent on the resulting actuating variable (uabc), and the actuating variable (udq), the harmonic (336) and the resulting actuating variable (uabc) characterizing an actuating current or an actuating voltage.

  • Patent number: 12003201
Abstract: A method for controlling an electric machine, in particular a permanent magnet synchronous machine, having a first, in particular three-phase, winding system, which is controlled by a first converter, and having a second, in particular three-phase, winding system, which is controlled by a second converter. The first converter is operated with block commutation and the second converter is operated with pulse width modulation, in particular space vector modulation.

  • Publication number: 20230370009
Abstract: A method is provided for operating an electric drive system (20) with an electric machine (27) that comprises a first multiphase winding operatively coupled to a first inverter (25), and has at least one second multiphase winding that is coupled to a second inverter (26), A first energy storage (23) is arranged upstream of the first inverter (25), and a second energy storage (24) is arranged upstream of the second inverter (26). The method includes: operating the electric machine (27) by providing a first power flow between the first energy storage (23) and the first multiphase winding; and energizing the second inverter (26) so that a second power flow can be provided between the first energy storage (24) and the second multiphase winding. An electric drive system also is provided for carrying out the method.

  • Patent number: 11424971
Abstract: A control unit generates pulse width modulation (PWM) pulses for an inverter. The control unit has a noise reducer configured to generate an opposing signal for active noise reduction. The noise reducer is configured to set a phase angle of the opposing signal based upon a predefined PWM frequency.
