  • Patent number: 9283573
Abstract: A nozzle for a fan assembly includes an air inlet, a plurality of air outlets, and an annular casing having an annular inner wall defining a bore through which air from outside the nozzle is drawn by air emitted from the air outlets and an outer wall extending about the inner wall. The annular casing includes an air passage for conveying air to the air outlets. The air passage has an inlet section located between the inner wall and the outer wall and extending about the bore of the nozzle, and a plurality of outlet sections each extending across the bore for conveying air to a respective air outlet. To achieve an even air pressure at each end of each of the outlet sections, the inlet section of the air passage is arranged to convey air to each end of each of the outlet sections.

  • Publication number: 20070028843
Abstract: A wire cage birdfeeder including a first cage member and a second cage member; the first and second cage members being pivotally connected such that when the feeder is in a closed position the first and second cage members are substantially flush with one another so forming a closed cage; and when in an open position the cage members are partly separated so presenting a filling mouth and further including a closer/hanger that when in a first position allows the first and second cage members to pivot open to present a mouth for charging and when in a closed position prevent such opening.

  • Publication number: 20060266296
Abstract: A bird feeder port having a front face with a feeding aperture, a side wall or walls, a rear face and a connection mechanism provided to allow the rear face of two identical bird feeder ports to be connected back to back. The connection mechanism includes a post extending outwardly from the rear face and having a sideways extending engagement portion at the distal end. The rear face has an aperture proximal the post, and an engagement edge integral with the rear face positioned on the inside of this aperture. In use the engagement portion of one port may engage the engagement edge of another identical port.

  • Publication number: 20060254527
Abstract: A birdfeeder includes a hopper member for storing birdfeed and a dispenser member for dispensing feed to birds; the hopper member having a discharge aperture and an adjustment mechanism that allow the position of the hopper member relative to the dispensing member to be adjusted from a first position which prevents flow of food from the hopper member to the dispensing member, to a second position which allows flow of food from the hopper member to the dispensing member and where an inclined surface depending from the dispenser member presents at least one perch from which birds can easily reach feeding ports in the discharge member.
