    Abstract: A blind cavity is thoroughly flushed free of foreign matter by apparatus for pumping hydraulic oil up through a tube of lesser diameter than the access opening to the cavity and returning the exit flow of the contaminated fluid to the pump through a coaxial bore surrounding the tube and of larger diameter than both the access opening and the tube.
