  • Publication number: 20240179081
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses for discovery and selection of a Local Network Exposure Function (L-NEF) are described herein. A method of for registering with a Network Repository Function (NRF) performed by a L-NEF may include sending, to the NRF, a register registration message that includes a new NF network function (NF) profile, the new NF profile further including an identification of a Local Area Data Network (LADN), Service area information associated with the L-NEF, and a User Plane Function (UPF) Identifier (ID). The method may include receiving a registration response message from the NRF.

  • Publication number: 20240163736
Abstract: The disclosure pertains to a method implemented in a Wireless Transmit/Receive Unit (WTRU) for service continuity during an application context relocation (ACR) procedure. The method includes determining, by the WTRU, one or more local area data network (LADN) data network names (DNNs) that require service continuity. The method additionally includes indicating, to a network by the WTRU, the LADN DNNs that require service continuity. The network is configured to use the list to maintain a protocol data unit (PDU) session toward a source LADN DNN, after the WTRU leaves a service area of a source LADN, while ACR is being executed and release the PDU session when the ACR is complete.

  • Publication number: 20100205890
Abstract: Systems and methods for building construction that utilize frame members (e.g., studs) having attachment portions to which construction panels can be secured. In one embodiment, a stud designed to support vertical wall panels consists of a pair of metal C-channel studs that are oriented back-to-back with a stiffener plate between them. The stiffener plate extends outward from the stud so that it can be used to secure the wall panels against the stud. The stiffener plate has slots through it that allow biscuits to be placed through the stiffener plate and into the edges of the wall panels that abut the stiffener plate. The biscuits hold the edges of the wall panels in alignment with each other and, because the biscuits extend through the slots in the stiffener plate, the wall panels are held against the stud, thereby stiffening the wall formed by the panels.

  • Publication number: 20080104901
Abstract: Systems and methods for construction using modular units, such as wall panels, which have integrated utility service. One embodiment comprises a product including a modular construction panel and one or more utility fittings which are integral to the panel. The utility fittings may be for any type of utility service, such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, computer network, phone or audio/video service. The fittings in the panels may be electrical wires or plumbing conduits. The panels may include connectors (e.g., quick-connect connectors) for coupling the utility fittings which are integral to the panel to service points such as wiring harnesses or water source pipes that are external to the panel and that provide utility service to the utility fittings. The panels may also include connectors for coupling the integral utility fittings to utility fixtures external the panel, such as light switches, electrical outlets, computer network jacks, phone jacks, faucets, drains, etc.
