  • Publication number: 20130184088
Abstract: An infant care apparatus includes a base, a reciprocating vertical motion mechanism, a vertical motion driving module, a reciprocating pendulum motion mechanism, and a pendulum motion driving module. The vertical motion driving module is kinematically connected to the reciprocating vertical motion mechanism so as to vertically move the reciprocating vertical motion mechanism in reciprocating vertical motion with respect to the base. The pendulum motion driving module is kinematically connected to the reciprocating pendulum motion mechanism so as to pendulum move the reciprocating pendulum motion mechanism in reciprocating pendulum motion with respect to the reciprocating vertical motion mechanism. • Publication number: 20130185473
Abstract: Embodiments of a data cache are disclosed that substantially decrease a number of accesses to a physically-tagged tag array of the data cache are provided. In general, the data cache includes a data array that stores data elements, a physically-tagged tag array, and a virtually-tagged tag array. In one embodiment, the virtually-tagged tag array receives a virtual address. If there is a match for the virtual address in the virtually-tagged tag array, the virtually-tagged tag array outputs, to the data array, a way stored in the virtually-tagged tag array for the virtual address. In addition, in one embodiment, the virtually-tagged tag array disables the physically-tagged tag array. Using the way output by the virtually-tagged tag array, a desired data element in the data array is addressed.

  • Publication number: 20130181456
Abstract: A tri-energy power generating device uses the light energy, the thermal energy and wind energy from the nature and transfers these energies into electric power so as to obtain environmentally friendly power. The tri-energy power generating device includes a thermal energy transfer unit, a light-thermo energy collecting unit disposed above the thermal energy transfer unit and a wind turbine unit. When the wind is sufficient, the cold air enters the thermal energy transfer unit from a lower end thereof to drive the wind turbine unit. When there is sufficient sunshine, the light-thermo energy collecting unit transfers the light into electric power to initiate the wind turbine unit and transfer the light into the thermal energy. The thermal energy is conducted to the thermal energy transfer unit and the air is heated to drive the wind turbine unit to generate electric power.

  • Publication number: 20130183773
Abstract: The invention is directed towards methods and compositions for identifying the amount of hydrofluoric acid in a buffered oxide etching composition. In buffered oxide etching compositions it is very difficult to measure the amount of hydrofluoric acid because it has varying equilibriums and it is toxic so it hard to handle and sample. When used to manufacture microchips however, incorrect amounts of hydrofluoric acid will ruin those chips. The invention utilizes a unique method of spectrographically measuring the hydrofluoric acid when in contact with added chromogenic agents to obtain exact measurements that are accurate, immediate, and safe.

  • Publication number: 20130184951
Abstract: A vehicle includes an engine, transmission, and controller. The transmission includes a clutch pack, a clutch piston, and a position sensor. The sensor measures a changing magnetic field with respect to the piston, and encodes the measured magnetic field as a raw position signal. The controller receives the raw position signal and processes the raw position signal through a signal processing module to generate a filtered signal attenuating signal noise in the position signal. The controller determines a commanded position of the piston, and calculates separate proportional (P), derivative (D), and integral (I) control terms using the commanded position and filtered position signal. The controller also calculates a feed-forward control term using the commanded position, and a required flow rate for actuating the clutch pack as a function of the PID terms and the feed-forward commanded position term. The controller actuates the clutch pack using the commanded flow rate.

  • Publication number: 20130185542
Abstract: An external Auxiliary Execution Unit (AXU) interface is provided between a processing core disposed in a first programmable chip and an off-chip AXU disposed in a second programmable chip to integrate the AXU with an issue unit, a fixed point execution unit, and optionally other functional units in the processing core. The external AXU interface enables the issue unit to issue instructions to the AXU in much the same manner as the issue unit would be able to issue instructions to an AXU that was disposed on the same chip. By doing so, the AXU on the second programmable chip can be designed, tested and verified independent of the processing core on the first programmable chip, thereby enabling a common processing core, which has been designed, tested, and verified, to be used in connection with multiple different AXU designs.
