  • Patent number: 11340830
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for memory buffer management and bypass are described. Data corresponding to a page size of a memory array may be received at a virtual memory bank of a memory device, and a value of a counter associated with the virtual memory bank may be incremented. Upon determining that a value of the counter has reached a threshold value, the data may be communicated from the virtual memory bank to a buffer of the same memory device. For instance, the counter may be incremented based on the virtual memory bank receiving an access command from a host device.

  • Patent number: 11340437
Abstract: The technology disclosed relates to structured illumination microscopy (SIM). In particular, the technology disclosed relates to capturing and processing, in real time, numerous image tiles across a large image plane, dividing them into subtiles, efficiently processing the subtiles, and producing enhanced resolution images from the subtiles. The enhanced resolution images can be combined into enhanced images and can be used in subsequent analysis steps. The technology disclosed includes logic to reduce computing resources required to produce an enhanced resolution image from structured illumination of a target. A method is described for producing an enhanced resolution image from images of a target captured under structured illumination. This method applies one or more transformations to non-redundant data and then recovers redundant data from the non-redundant data after the transformations.

  • Patent number: 11341832
Abstract: A fall prevention device comprising at least one sensor operable to detect a user has woken up while they are still within a bed and a notification unit operable to output a fall prevention warning to a user in response to the detection. By detecting when a user wakes up, rather than when they physically get out of bed, the device allows a fall prevention warning to be provided in advance of the user getting up. This warning can relate to a variety of different things (for example, warning the user to take their time before getting up, or to use the necessary aids), all in aid of reducing the likelihood of the user falling when they get up. The device thereby reduces the chances of a fall.
